Vincent Bugliosi the author of "Helter Skelter" about the Charles Manson murders was the prosecuting attorney that convicted Manson & some of his followers. Explains in the book how important it was to get the jury on board with the notion that Manson did not have to be physically present to have gotten the victims murdered. It was Manson's "philosophy and teachings" that guided his followers to murder.

@@MomtoAutismI really believe he expects to get out of this, that he’ll be acquitted. He thought he could commit these crimes and get away with it. I do believe that Alex and Lori were involved in Joe Ryan’s death, and Megan Conner has said that Alex was doing things to speed up Stacy’s death. I think he was slowly poisoning her with alcohol (a form of sugar) and she was a diabetic. He was using her credit cards. I suspect that Lori may have confided in Chad about some of these things. My theory.

If I were a juror i would wonder: 1) Why is the defense trying to assure me there was a 'crazy neighbor with a paintball gun' episode and not alex with a real gun; but also wants me to believe it was actually Alex trying to kill Chad by instruction from Lori for some reason (even though Chad and Alex sent pictures of themselves like bro-hams at the temple calling themselves exalted beings) 2) If Chad were innocent and had no idea there were children buried on his property, then why didn't he stick around when they showed up with warrants and a forensic team and even walk around the back with them, and show them the burial spot of the racoon he was talking about? And then he could have stood there perplexed and watched as they went to dig up other areas and when they started to find remains he would have been horrified, amazed, shocked and disgusted like a normal innocent person would have been... If I were a juror I'd find him guilty on all counts. 🤷‍♂️

We live on a small 4 acre property and if the fbi, police, etc. Showed up at our house and said 2 children were bodied on our land, I would be 1. HYSTERICAL and running around trying to help them 2. CONFUSED about HOW and WHY could such a thing happen without our family knowing 3. TERRIFIED about who had been close to my family capable of doing such a monstrous thing!!! Chad was completely nonplussed. You know he was expecting them to show up and knew he was in deep trouble.

We need to make some changes in this country regarding the rights of the family in regards to autopsy & burial decisions. Currently if a spouse murders their partner it is They & Only they that get to make those decisions. It's IMO absolutely insane that possible murders make decisions regarding destruction of many times the Best or Only evidence that can determine Murder or suspicious circumstances. Two lives in one day, what a treat! Dr. John was slaying tonight. I was thinking "The Most Expert expert that ever exxperted" and then John said it. Sometimes he is very millennial coded and I enjoy it so much. I loved the fashion discussion.

My favorite part was when Prior touched the mic and then asked Dr. Hampikian if his DNA would be on the mic and instead of saying yes, Dr. Hampikiam basically said it rewind depend, and Prior started talking really fast to try to get the attention away from it.

I'm glad Dr John keeps bringing up Manson. My mom followed Manson like we're following this and she keeps saying how similar these two trials are and I totally agree!!

My husband met Manson’s dad when he was working in Seattle. He said that CM’s father was a very large, tall and soft spoken man. Very friendly. My husband really liked him. That was many years ago, and my husband said he passed on sometime before Charlie.

I think we are all getting a bit silly after the long weeks of trial. The “shedder”is hilarious. This was a great conversation. Dr. John we love seeing your full personality tonight. Thanks for all you two do! I have been on this case since Chad and Lori were in Hawaii and following you two have made this journey so fulfilling. Justice for all the victims.

Thank you both for covering this harrowing case, I come here first for the lowdown. Sometimes truth is the elephant in the room...the more I think about it the more questions I have for Melanie G, Warwick, Zulema, and Melani P. I don't feel its coincidence that Melanie Gibb and Warwick were at Lori's the awful night JJ was taken away, killed. Zulema and Melani P were both into it up to their necks, two smooth operators since - Melani P comes across as an accomplished, astute liar, just like Aunt Lori. Zulema is "off" - something doesn't pass the smell test.

My perspective of my own marriage mirrors the esteemed Dr John and Miss Lauren. But that is greatly exaggerating my own abilities. My partner could match Dr John in trivia & Scrabble despite having an MIT education. My best friend referred me to the channel as she and I both escaped the IBLP/duggar cult. So very glad she clued me in. I owe my friend 3 months of Patreon dues per our bet. Excellent work team!
