I love those fiber tortilla's in the morning, I like to take a tortilla and lay it open in the air fryer with the egg whites (already cooked) on it and let it crisp things up a bit and no cleanup needed.

I use Kahunas, but it’s a full on coaching app. Otherwise I would recommend Cronometer

I’m kind of confused in terms of weighing protein in grams. Ive been under the assumption that 200 grams of chicken is equivalent to 50 grams of protein. Which is like 6-8 oz cooked. Is my tracking inaccurate? Does the tracking of Protein to the exact number in grams or ounces matter? Is grams more accurate than ounces?

Grams and ounces are both unit of weight, so it doesn’t matter. I just like grams as it is more universally standard

Hey John. I had a question for you. Regarding Insulin (Lantus). If the AM dose was missed by any chance prior to the first meal, is it okay to take it along with the meal as it's longer acting and peaks much later? Appreciate you for the amazing content and info you always handout as always 🙏🏻❤️

Timing is less important with Lantus, many even split the dose AM and PM. There is no peak with Lantus, so you could take later in the day.

Is it true that one should avoid any protein powder but natural protein when 4-2 weeks out from comp , especially for women competing in bikini ifbb ?

Hi John, have you ever experienced pitting edema in the abdomen and thighs in any of your clients? If so, did you ever figure out the cause? My guess is a thyroid and/or test problem (natural but came off prescription T3 5 weeks ago)

It’s not a big preference for me. I prefer chicken, pork and fish. I might have a steak every few weeks

Im so sick of rice (stilll eating it tho) whats your go to additive to make it an enjoyable meal. Its hard to stuff it down if its got some crazy hot sauce on it.

@@bluntforcetanya cumin, Garlic salt, all the dried powders at target, monosodium glutamate, chicken bullion paste (that one was good I might get that again) Cinnamon brown sugar, orange peal, curry powder, after 20 months I've used it all and am disappointed. Rice is so bland it needs more than powder in top. I even did crasin's and vanilla, I can't imagine how long this guy's been doing it so he's gotta have tricks like the ninja creamy except for rice

I used to consistently eat more rice. I've gotten into eating more legumes. Chick peas, kidney beans, kidney beans. No sugar added bbq sauce along with the legumes, fish or turkey, other spices (etc) is quite nice.

Do you like lentil beans? You can mix that into your rice or, also bone broth makes rice more palatable.

I thought for high carb days you want to keep fat as low as possible?

I already have a low fat diet. High fats can impede glycogen loading this is true but does not hold true in an already low fat diet. Also fat combined with carbohydrates does not lead to more body fat gain.

5-6g sodium per day is a good start point. This will increase based on temp, work environment, training volume, etc
