IQ matters if you want to do something that requires high intelligence, but what matters most and universally for everyone is attitude. A good attitude about solving problems and feeling good about moving on to the next problem after problem after problem. Then coming back to the start and improving, editing, improving, trashing the work if it's not good enough and improving some more. Connections, intuition, and guts count a lot too.

You have a knack for understanding how to make a video with what is essential for an audience even when we don't want to hear it at the cost of risking the like and view ratio rather than pander to what we will consume. An experiment against the norm of the KZbinrs I believe the value angle you are taking will be what in the future drives the majority of content with saturation levels this high. Thanks.

My nephew called me and said he was mad at my 2, lawyer sisters for not bailing him out of jail (for the 50th time) for a drug sale where his “friend” turned on him and worked for the narcs. I told nephew that they are tired of his bs. He said they “threw him to the lions” and he always helps them with their bs all the time. “Their bs” is hanging a tv on the wall or maintenance around the house. He compared that as the same level and the Same department as his negative hand-to-hand sale of crack bs. And when I didn’t agree he started cursing me out saying me and my sisters are “squares” for embracing education like as if valuing education is bad thing. It was real derogatory too and that’s the issue with Black people and their mindset. Many don’t embrace education at all, it’s all about hustling illegal assets under the table somewhere or robbing people and not having a job. It’s looked down upon and it’s really disturbing.

8:05 -- Your pushup form is a little off, over time you could get hurt. Your elbows shouldn't be that far from your body (scapular plane/where your muscles run) and your hands should be behind your shoulder more, if there's a line running through your back, through both shoulder blades, make sure your hands are slightly behind that line. I wasn't great at working out either but then I started thinking about it like an engineering problem. Enjoying the vids Martin, take care yourself.

@@omarbarreda5842 was thinking the same thing after I replied regarding materials/industrials. CFA would give a good framework (I took and passed L1 so far, can answer questions regarding the program), though it’s definitely a lot of work and that opportunity cost could be used networking and such. My belief is anyone can break into the industry granted you tell your story in an appealing and memorable way.

I have to contradict you Martin, you can improve your IQ. In fact, you can cheat on the IQ tests, which does not mean that you are smarter, only that you are quantified as smart by a test. The issue with the IQ tests is its use in deciding who gets a job or promotion or position, not in itself. You are one of the few people with different ethics, values, philosophy, politics, and vision than me who nevertheless gets my attention. Please keep posting and uploading, you challenge my ideas all the time.

You really do not see any difference between IQ score and actual brain IQ?

@@apolloparker4963 said person is a child, cheating on a test obviously doesn't increase your iq, and there are no jobs or any position which provide iq tests, LOL.

Regarding Asian vs. Black families. This is a great study of how family structure impacts earnings of future generations. Black family structure has been non-existent, and not promoted enough. There hasn't been enough government help or active help to contribute to fixing it. Black people have been discouraged from buying and owning property for so long, and having access to quality education. And lack of access to opportunities leading to doing crime. Much of America has failed Black Americans. Asian families, come from an immigrant culture, where they move together as a family unit. And that structure is already there, and plus a chip in the shoulder to work harder.

Black families were doing fine in the 20th century, despite having their progressed impeded by racists. The family structure fell the same way the white family structure did. Its not specifically a black issue, but blacks were impacted the worst

Compare Africa to Europe. There is a difference. Like in a diverse forest the pines and cedars are the first order and most basic. Oaks and maples are more complex and do more for the ecosystem as a whole. Blks are like pines and cedars. Wtes are oaks and maples. And we see this in the world. The problem is blks living among wtes and comparing themselves to wtes and wtes trying to justify the difference using any avenue except the truth.
