+ArgyleGroove this is what is mind boggling me. On an interview he said that he charges big corporations full price but people with no insurance or can't afford it can get it for free. Now he's on trial for securities fraud yet they're questioning him on his company. It seems they're framing him for hiking the price on big corporations. And big corporations have major political influence. Who's to say these big corporations aren't behind his federal indictment?

Brandon Almas insurance does. Also only a fraction of the population in United States needs it. Meaning only 300,000 out of 300,000,000. In the end the insurance eats the cost. Just like when someone crashes their automobile your personal car insurance rate won't go up. Because they're not associated or in a symbiotic relationship with one another.

So when a new family loses their wonderful son, there is a big uproar- this is the greatest double standard- for if you felt no empathy about their children and blind curve- well your son is more important (and connected, and $50 million later there is no curve. -) duff gordon

Why does everyone only look at Shkreli in a bad way? He didn't do anything wrong. He's a businessman and pharmacist. He had a patent to sell his prescription drugs at any price he wanted. No other company was selling the same drug. He was using supply and demand. He knew people with AIDS or something else would want the drug. He used the laws to sell his product. Plus he thought that not many people would buy the drug, that's probably why he raised the price high. I agree it was a bit much, but it's business and he played by the rules. If other companies were selling the same or similar drug, that would be a different story.
