This guy clearly said on multiple occasions if patients need the medication for free to contact his organization for the time being. I would have done that to try and get it myself anyway if I were an AIDS patient. Major pharmaceutical entities have never interrogated like this as far as I know. Why does everyone only look at Shkreli in a bad way? He didn't do anything wrong. He's a businessman and pharmacist. He had a patent to sell his prescription drugs at any price he wanted. No other company was selling the same drug. He was using supply and demand. He knew people with AIDS or something else would want the drug. He used the laws to sell his product. Plus he thought that not many people would buy the drug, that's probably why he raised the price high. I agree it was a bit much, but it's business and he played by the rules. If other companies were selling the same or similar drug, that would be a different story.
