Me and my pal stopped by on Sunday while driving from Sheffield to Manchester. I was visiting from Norway so had to make the pilgrimage. Matt wasn't in but it was still fun to see the real life world famous Romiley Garage. Matt's chief ops officer who runs the forecourt was really nice and welcoming. He pointed out the new toilet and showed us round 😂

Matt ur attention to detail when prepping these cars for sale is absolutely second to none…it’s phenomenal…I would buy a car from u tomorrow mate…Bn to ur pitch b4 & it a sound set up with decent desirable stock…staff were really attentive,pleasant & professional… U should be really proud of your business & ethics etc…as far away as a cowboy as u could get bro…don’t really buy from 2nd hand small businesses…more Arnold Clark n that…VW etc. But ad av no issues purchasing a brief from yourself Matt. I've been lucky. I bought my current car (2001 reg) 13 years ago for £700. It doesn't look pretty, a few knocks and scrapes but its reliable, done 105000 miles so far. Every year i look up the price of a replacement car when it comes MOT time ( just in case) yet it passed again, unfortunately one advisory this time.

Don’t worry somebody buy. Remember prices in car dealer is always higher. When you running a business you always had a costs. Yard, electricity, tax etc. Thats how you make a profit. Matt find this cars, buy and prepare for new owner. Repairs, service, and his time. Plus he offer finance, warranty.

It also has water ingress in the boot. Big pool of water, and wet around the fuse board area of the boot. Mentioned it to his colleague and received a “no more prep work will happen, take it or leave it response”, we were pretty gutted by the response as we would have bought it if the issue was addressed.

Love a garage tour. Funny how you mention low milers being difficult to sell. A Scottish garage I follow on FB had a 2014 Honda Jazz with 214 miles. Took him ages to shift. Looked absolutely amaculate too!

Low miles on an old-ish car (that isn't a classic supercar) generally means lots of short journeys that doesn't work the engine.

Just what I was thinking, but maybe that's the way the second hand car market is swinging. Not many want overpriced EV's so that's putting pressure up on second hand. For example I bought my 20 plate Octavia 1.5 for £13k last March with 11k miles. Now with 19k miles there are similar mileage Octavia's around at a grand more , £14k!! If you're in the market, I'd jump now as this will only get worse as we devolve into a state of affairs something like Cuba.

that 2016 Renault Kadjar looks alright, we had one of them but red it didn't have a DPF filter i believe it was the last model to not have it, and later newer models got DPF, if it's the non DPF version it will sell.

Fun fact about the Honda Jazz: When they were to introduce it in Sweden, it was at first not to be called Fit, but with an additional ”ta” as well, which means ”lady part down there”… 😉

I love that LWB A8! I reckon it would have sold if it was black. I only say that as when I do courier work in central London there's always A8's outside the big 5* hotels and they're generally black. The right company or person will co.e along though. So much car for the money and so well built. God knows why the Sorrento hasn't gone, brilliant tow car and a great price.

Kadjar may not be the best built or flashiest car ,but I’ve done 118,000 klms without even a hiccup , cheap to run did over 1,200 klms on 1 tank with air con on , big inside , and with a Bose system sounds bloody good

That Ford focus estate in silver - the front and rear bumper are different shades of silver to the rest of the car. Not been in a crash has it?

You get that often with cars, because the bumpers are usually a different material to the bodywork so as the car gets older, the paint fades at different rates.

The 4 series bmw are nice cars I sold my 2020 430 a year ago. Only 23,000 miles on it. I just prefer mercs. I got a E clas conv. 350 amg line premium ..which I love. It just imo a better car more inside looks better drives superb.
