After I saw this video, I remember when I went to my try out, the biggest thing was all the coaches who used to be pro were the judges. Those big names you heard your whole life were going to score your fielding, hitting, base running. That was pretty cool and I am still glad I have done it in front of my childhood idols. But I can imagine that might be stressful for some young players

My son made the freshman team. The next three years he did not. You’re baseball dream isn’t over!! It just means you don’t get to play in spring. He played in legion ball and his coach helped him improve and get recruited to a NAIA school. Something most hs coaches probably dont have time to do.

IN SEPT. U START WORKING LIKE A RELIGION 3 TIMES A WEEK. DO GROUNDERS, FLY BALLS, BATTING PRACTICE. SOME TIMES U CAN FIEND A FALL LEAGUE. BUT KEEP WOKING OUT ALL WINTER INDOORS. THAT WAY THERE NO EXCUSES WHEN THEY POST TRYOUTS AT 3:30 PM AFTER SCHOOL ON THE VASETY FIELD. U ARE NOT GETTING A TROPHY LIKE U DID IN LL. PERFORM AND U GET A ROSTER SPOT AND PLAYING TIME. STRIKE OUT TO MANY TIMES AND U WILL BE REPLACED. IN MLB U WOULD BE RELEASED JUST LIKE MATT IN THE VIDEO. HE TELLS IT LIKE IT IS. IT IS NOT CHGILDREN'S BASEBALL MAN UP.

Im Pretty Late but im a 16 year old already in my junior year, I have not played since I was 10, I am a fairly decent pitcher, always was a base player, just need to work on my aim and catching, i have been practicing here and there to gain back some skill and knowledge, am i too late or still got a chance?
