Video picks up from the Arkansas State Police after local agency attempted to stop the suspect vehicle with spikes. Watch the driver stick both hands out of the window WHILE FLEEING. He is telling them that he is going to do his best to get away so he doesn't have to go to jail but please don't shoot me thinking I have a gun and am about to pull on you. It doesn't guarantee your safety but it might make them a little less ready to start shooting. I've only been "felony take downed" one time. Wrong place, wrong time. Police were searching the sketchy neighborhood I was driving in at midnight (to a friend's house) for a suspect involved in a stabbing incident and I came upon their cars blocking the road and had to turn around, at which time two cops in their patrol cars decided to run my plates. The car paper work was so messed up and out of date (in the name of the 3rd previous owner still when I paid cash for it but I wasn't aware until after the fact what a shit situation I was in) I couldn't register or title the car in my name so couldn't legally plate it. Had a friend's plate on instead. They lit me up and I only drove maybe 100 more feet before pulling to the side. The two cops rushed my car with guns in my face and screaming at me to get out of the car and detained me, again, all at gun point seemingly randomly. Long story short, after a nice talk and a few weeks of time, I wasn't charged with anything and I requested no actions be taken against the original arresting officers. I was booked and released the night of the arrest but prosecutor offered to 'remedy' the incident by dismissing charges of Fleeing and Eluding (Felony Level 6), and False and Fictitius plates (Felony Level 6). The bad news was I was never able to recover the impounded car, per being unable to get in contact with last registered/titled owner. :/ $2,000 in the drain within 2 months.

All they gotta do is start charging em per car they pass at reckless speed. I believe every individual red light citation is issued per traffic light ran during the pursuit, but they should charge individuals for "Public endangerment / Reckless disregard for public safety" PER vehicle / pedestrian they pass 20+ MPH above the speed limit. End the chase with 65 counts of public endangerment and each carrying up to 1yr, yeah, You'll probably never even want to have the chance at driving and choosing to run again.

That looks like a RWD car so the fact that he's getting enough traction on rims/flats on his drive wheels to not only go that fast, but also stay in control is amazing. Driver is clearly an idiot that was ridiculously lucky he didn't spin out and slam into a guardrail, or worse, another person. EDIT: (Later) Oh! He's got both of his hands out of the window at 110mph on THREE blown tires/bare rims, that makes everything better.

I always wonder about the aftermath. I did a search, this wasn't his first rodeo. He's been in court before and had a court ordered psychiatric exam. I do not believe he was acting. I didn't find anything regarding drugs. I think he had a psychotic break, but that's just my opinion. I'm glad nobody got killed or injured. How he didn't wreck running on rims at 100+mph in the rain is beyond me.

the audi drivers are known for their bad behaviour in germany for the last 10yrs, too. it started with the audi a3, a4 and a6 series. sometimes it's audi a8, too, but since they are very much more expensive, owners usually be just idiots on the roads, but atleast taking care for their car for some reason. like running the red (not with excessive speeds ofc), failure to yield on stop signs, acting stupid on the autobahn like speeding, tailgaiting or brake checking.
