Wind has probably had the biggest affect on our visits to places. More than a few times I would have sworn the camper was going to blow over!

Sweet having full hookups for a few days always "recharges" the campers. It usually the time for cleaning the rv, dog, laundry! We always watch the weather too and have been able to thus far avoid ice storms, tornado, hail storm, and floods. Agree weather changes in a heartbeat. I always lookup up public radio stations along our travel route and next destination. That wY we keep up with local weather and news. We've often thought having a battery or wind up radio might be a good idea in case of emergency as we have often camped without Verizon cell signal. Do you own an emergency radio? I've not yet decided on small model but would love another well traveled advice. 😊

Teddy GingerBear we having been wanting to get a Ham radio and get certified to use it but, for now we have an emergency rescue beacon that we take with us everywhere. Hiking, biking, and climbing especially.
