Exact same thing happened to us recently 😣 and the nasty water got into the inner cracks of the walls.. we can’t get the entire smell out now. I’m afraid we’re going to have to break it down to get it all out

Good job! I recall doing this climb some 35 years ago. No bolts on the route back then. Just used a few skinny wired nuts. Thank you for sharing and reminding me of some fond memories.

We are currently locked in and we realized last night or early in the morning when we went to let our dog out. Thanks for the tutorial!

Hang the fabric or anything with wrinkles in a closed bath with hot steam. You can smooth out as well. I do this instead of ironing everything.

So how fast did the floor buckle since you didn't leave a gap around the while perimeter?

I am joining the long list of THANK YOUs this morning. Your video was super helpful, as opposed to others, not so much for our LOCKED IN (!) situation. We are traveling in AZ from Canada, and this morning at a new campsite, we received full morning sunshine for the first time on this trip on the door side. That caused the deadbolt to not fully release. Adjustments and lubes coming up! Luckily, my handy new DeWalt multitool was in the kitchen cupboard. Of course, my overloaded toolbox was in the truck bed! However, I was able to tease out the screws of the latch assembly with the DeWalt, and get us out of the trailer to enjoy a beautiful sunny morning 🌄. Thanks again!!

Thanks for making this video. We have a new motorhome that I really want to make sink covers for. I really like how it turned out!

what a lot of these sort of videos fail to realize is that any design where you are touching your shades is not going to work because touching the shades will make them much dirtier over time. need to think of a string or something that can be pulled to pull them up, or let them drop down.

Very good! I am going to try something similar, adding a small dowel along the bottom to give weight and easy to roll up.

Young people make me sad. Between the two of them the couldn't figure out they could go to a thrift store and buy and iron for literally $1-2 and if they didn't want to keep it, just donate it back to the store.

😂😂😂😂 “We didn’t screw them into studs or anything…” Those things won’t hold much weight and I’m sure if you leaves clothes on them while traveling it’ll be one trip before they rip out of the wall. Next time do it right and find a stud.

Yeah, they're called carriage Bolts. I had them holding my entry steps onto our motorhome. I had to hole saw the wood above the heads to put vicegrips on them to stop them from spinning. I might put a vid together of all the footage I took doing it.

Thank you and will be trying this tomorrow as my motor home "house" door is stuck. I locked it up and left for a function only to return and not be able to get in. Fortunately, the Cab door allowed inside access but it is night time now and I will need to try the removal after breakfast. Watching you try to get out was my exact response. I hope I can find a replacement latch soon as I live in the MH and climbing in and out of the cab is a bit tough on these old bones.

It is good that the connection finally broke! That many times is how electrical fires start. Just in case this ever happens to you. A 2014 Thor Windsport had power to and from the converter but would not charge the battery. After lots of testing and numerous KZbin videos, I figured out that the problem was under the hood. Inside a special built box for Thor, that ties the house and chassis batteries together there was a button so tiny that you couldn’t see it under the hood. I touched it and slightly pushed it. Click and all was good in the world. It was a reset button for a 50 amp breaker inside the box.

The little hole to the bottom left of where you sprayed is the bowl vent, goes direct into the carb bowl. You could also spray into it and help clean the jets

Thanks, we've been full time since June 1st, 2022 and today we encountered the same problem... stuck in our RV by what appears to be a stuck deadbolt. I'm sooo glad I decided to bring my tool bag in last night. Going to try taking it apart in a few mins.
