With cotd, the map has a bigger issue with box errors and explosive errors. Along with the lack of viable traps and weapons, the rounds can be a lot slower. Every map in bo1 has the box spin error, but with cotd you are spinning a lot more. Especially with console, the errors were a lot worse along with frame lag. (This applies to every map, the old consoles on higher rounds would struggle with frame lag so people were switching to pc) I don't know if people have reset on cotd or got the box/explosive error. (I could be wrong with what I have said so if I am please correct me if needed)

The difference is that, there was no quick revive. Zero downs up to 240. And be honest, what is the difference between round 50 and 100? You play the same. They are both unkillable without infinite damage and traps. Look even on gk. 70 downs just to get 255. Bo3 is easy, because of its forgiving and lack of crashing unlike bo2.

I base difficulty on game mechanics, not how broken the game is, because if that's the measurement of difficulty, then the hardest Round 100+ is probably Blood of the Dead, IX, or Voyage of Despair without patches, because you are guaranteed to crash.

As a person that played vanguard and completed every ee besides shi no numa Vanguard high rounds are extremely boring and surprisingly RNG based for the round based maps due to the covenant system. Even then I don't think covenants would matter.

yo im the guy who did 154 ori, the map is not "low" lol, the game allow to play 26H MAX so its impossible to hit 255 by any means, ori bo3 is a complete different map (AATs,, GUM...). doing 255 bo3 ori is pretty easy tbh

9:27 wait…the wave gun/zap guns can actually give you drops on bo3 Moon? It can’t give you any drops in any game like bo1 and bo3. I literally saw a video of TheRelaxingEnd doing a round 100 attempt on bo3 Moon with another player and he NEVER got any drops when he was using the tunnel 11 camping strategy. And he was relying on Gersh devices to give him drops whenever he ran out of the wave gun’s ammo. Granted, the video I’m talking about was posted 6 years ago. So maybe Treyarch patched the bo3 wave gun’s inability to give you drops without me knowing. This doesn’t really matter tho because the wave gun with Alchemical Antithesis is DEFINITELY up there with the most iconic/best wonder weapons like the baby gun, thundergun, Sliquifier and other weapons. You can literally just run out of ammo from the wave gun, pull a Gersh device to distract the zombies and get yourself an Alchemical Antithesis GobbleGum or max ammo to just finish the rounds.

I can get up to almost round 50 on ascension and that was the highest I’ve been, I got the thunder gun and the ray gun in the early rounds and pack a punched and kept on going around in the lunar launch pad place where widows wine is, this was bo3 zombies and I happened to achieve this goal last month so it was recent However I can get an average of 30 rounds on all the other maps on bo3 like kino, moon, and a few others on solo but one day I’ll try to get to round 100 on moon

i remember me and my friend did it and the game lasted almost 3 days and we got up to the 80s if we didn't have school i wouldve best that record so many people probably beat these records and never recorded it i bet my friend kyle and i would've conquered it in doubles idk about solo but i remember when bo1 came out my zombies obsession became crazy i loved waw and wanted more but bo1 i found was even more difficult and fun ascension was out favorite mao and then call of the dead in front of the lighthouse going off one oerson with thr vr and one with scavenger and then any other weaopns of choice the vr11 gives your team like a zombie blood when you shoot them it was so op but i remember that reset man so nostalgic im so sad i never had the setups to record and have youtube growing up i just wasn't privileged enough to have all that stuff i just ahd my game internet connection and controller and that was it i had adobe after affects photoshop and a youtube channel for skateboarding but i didnt know how to record my games and make these types of videos i knews how to take clips off my camera save them to a folder edit them and piece rhem together with a song playing in the backround and some slow motion effects
