I really enjoy this pairing. As much as I love downtuned metal, there’s something about drop D and E standard that have so much more bark and growl that really gets me pumped. That was really brought to light with this pair. Thanks Rabea for your hard work on this series. I’m loving it!

@Rabea Massaad You should be able to kill the hiss with a noise gate/suppressor. I know they're not your thing, but using something like the ISP Decimator II G-String via the 4-cable method should take care of things. If you set the level just high enough to stop the hiss, it shouldn't interfere with your playing or your sustain (even if you're switching between clean and overdrive channels). Speaking personally, my JVM's overdrive channels are really hissy and I wanted to stop that. I tried an MXR Smart Gate, but it only killed some of the noise when placed in front of the amp. When placed in the loop, it would take care of the noise issue completely...but would cut out the sound when I switched to the clean channels unless I turned the gate level down enough that it no longer helped with the OD hiss. I also tried a TC Electronics Sentry noise gate via the 4-cable method, but it couldn't handle the level in the JVM's loop and would choke up. After doing some more research, I found others recommending the ISP Decimator II G-String (specifically the G-String model, not the standard version; the latter doesn't do 4-cable). After picking one up, it was exactly what I needed. It's a "set it and forget it" pedal - set the level and then just play, switch channels, whatever without having to think about it. Hope this helps.

Cheers from Texas! 🤘😎🤘 Really enjoying this series of left right blends of massive amps and would appreciate a little panning in the middle here and there of both just for kicks. You mentioned it was hard to get rid of the hum or whatever is making the noise. Many times a building is not properly grounded; for how many power outlets end up on the main breaker/fuse box ground. How about a video with some power conditioner tests? I use an inexpensive Furman for my desk... No time to shoot video comparison... 🥺 Peace, Love, and Joy for the battles! Michael Francis
