Why they chose a French actor to play a Highlander, I will never know with all the great Scottish actors around. (But then again, they have pretty much an entire American cast for Dangerous Liaisons) Now I can pretty much recite the entire dialogue because I love the movie. I have the extended version. But You can never recast Clancy Brown as the Kurgan and of course there is no way to replace or recast Sean Connery as Ramirez. If they give Cavill an American accent instead of a Scottish one, this will annoy me. Cavill could play Connor but so could Sam Heughan...and I'm babbling....
