Highlanders Pipes & Drums lead Balaklava Company 5 SCOTS back to barracks through Ballater 2019

Balaklava Company, the Royal Guard, march over the river Dee and through the town of Ballater as they return to barracks after their inspection as part of the Guard of Honour to welcome Her Majesty the Queen to Balmoral for her summer residence on 6th August 2019.
The guard are from Balaklava Company, The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, 5th Battalion the Royal Regiment of Scotland and they have their regimental Shetland pony, Cruachan IV. The guard are led by the Pipes and Drums of the Highlanders, 4th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland (4 SCOTS).

As a German, I really admire this kind of military tradition, in particular concerning the military bagpipe bands and their precision when marching and playing. I've been a Sergeant of German MP in the Seventies...when Army people didn't have the best reputation amongst German citizens. Thank you for posting, and please continue!

@john jack You haven't read about their plans for harmonization, the Euro Zone with it's tax powers when they will take all your tax revenue and they will decide how much you get back, just to make sure you don't spend too much. You haven't read about how much many of the EZ members are in debt a debt that you will have to help pay off should you jon the EU and compulsorily the EZ, as Germany can't pay it all, a debt that makes the UK debt look like pocket money. You haven't read about regionalization and the fact there won't be a Scotland or another country within the EU when the final treaty is signed. Heck were you paying attention when Guy Verhofstadt held up his Bollocks to Brexit Tee shirt and told you all about it.
