I actually got to see this play while it was running. And afterward got to meet some of the cast. It was so unreal! These people are so talented!

Recently saw Tony Shalhoub in Act One at the Lincoln Center. He was great, but I would've loved to see him in this! Also a huge Monk fan, and so thrilled to meet him at the stage door. He's so friendly and sweet, and blushes at every compliment awwww. :)

ojj75 god, you are right. Tony Shalhoub is one of the greatest men. You are so lucky to meet him. Probably l will never meet him or see him in real life x.( he seems such a good and shy man, who cares about his job and for his family. Who is very gentle, a good father, intelligent and a talented actor.

ojj75 I can’t wait to see him, that is, if he’s still in “The Band’s Visit” during my trip to New York in October!

My friend and I were at the final performance of this show during its Broadway run. Absolutely fantastic time seeing these remarkable actors keeping us in stitches throughout the show. Watching this on KZbin brings a smile to my face remembering that incredible experience. Like someone else here in the comments posted… I wish I could buy a copy to have to watch, to relive that memorable afternoon at the theatre. 👍🏻🍸😎

Saw this when it was on Bway...sometimes I wish they would put a performance like this on DVD so you can have it for all time. I want to see it again and again.

Are you doing actual singing, or recorded? We had trained singers, so we actually sang on stage. I also played Max about 15 years ago. Such a fun part!!

One of the funniest plays ever but because of CANCEL CULTURE there are plot points in the show that will cause a small group of professional protesters to prevent this show from getting performed today.
