I been a correctional officer in Delaware for 16 years and I love my job,Maybe one day I will work for NY DOC, it’s a few offices who retired from their and now work for the Delaware DOC.

As with any law enforcement job, the majority of the job is mental agility. Sure there are special units within this agency that require a higher level of physical training. Maybe many of these recruits won't qualify for those but I'll take someone who can't do 100 sit ups but knows how to talk to people instead of a muscle necked hot head with a bad temper to walk a tier with.
