Highlights made easy - Brunette to blonde in one sitting - Bronde Highlight, Shadow Root & Formulas

Hey Everyone! Heres a tutorial for a simplified foiling pattern to make someone as blonde as possible using foils in one single appointment. this result is still soft at the root with an impact at the ends of the hair to really give my client that blonde fantasy. im so sorry about the lighting, it makes things appear a LOT more warm/orange than they really are, since its dark out and all i have to show the end result with is the salon lighting.

Yes of course! I got her head in under an hour! Most heads take 1.5-2 depending on how much hair and how long but she’s fast!

I would like to know, if you used 20vol throughout, don't the first foils overprocess? By the time you're done with the last foil? Like if it took you 35-40minutes to foil and you process for 40 minutes after you're done, the first foil would be 80 minutes in, and the last foil only 40. How can I make it work evenly?

Can I ask is the reason you did not use blondeme lightner on your client who’s a base 5 and opted for vario super plus was to slow down the process because you were doing a full head and it was about timing?

I'm going to guess she didn't use it because she didn't need to lift that much. Level 5 to level 9 is a lift of 4 levels. The BlondMe bleach lifts up to 9 levels, which isn't needed with this client.

Great post ( tho i got confused why 20vol from start to finish , bc im so used to seeing most of using 10vol at the start & working up to 20vol) it gets super confusing , but i love your posts

Thank you! I started with 20 volume because this clients hair has a hard time lifting past the orange tones, so I didn’t want to risk a 10 volume losing power and having to reapply

I am a slow foiler and if I go to fast I end up with bleeders how long did it take you on this client, love the outcome and your sections always come together ❤️

Practice makes progress! Speed and accuracy will come eventually, for now slow is great because slow is where you have better foils. A good way to avoid bleeders is not to bring the highlight right up to the very top, give it a little room for now! That way if the foils slip, they won’t bleed
