If a lot has happened in a match and you can't fit it into 7 minutes, upload a longer video. Trust me it doesn't help that all the videos are systematically in the same minute. If this video was 10 minutes, no one would be hurt and we could have a better understanding of what happened in the match.

This was a game in which a 7 minute highlight video wasn't even close to being long enough to show everything that happened. There were a lot of great scoring chances and spectacular saves that weren't shown. There were 41 shots in total and the Xolos keepers made 11 saves, most of them spectacular. Also, judging by the comments here, at a minimum they should have shown the red card fouls from the angles that VAR used to send off both players. This would have avoided a lot of controversy among those who didn't watch the entire game or didn't pay attention to the replays.

I think I need someone to explain the mechanics of VAR in Leagues Cup to me, because, I have never seen anything like this before. And what I am talking about was the reversal of the Julian Carranza offsides to give the Philadelphia Union their second goal. Then I say the VAR official changed the call, I mean it literally, where the on-field referee never went to the monitor, and changed the decision in the middle of the pitch just on the word of the VAR official. It this a rule for this competition?

The reason why VAR checked it was because it was a goal scoring opportunity. From MLS and other scenarios with in the league, and probably Leagues Cup too, every time somebody scored its check to see if it was the right call.

Both Xolos players that were sent off were because they were the last man committing a foul to prevent a clear goal scoring opportunity. This was not the case with Philadelphia player who committed the penalty. VAR was correct in all three cases.

So the reasoning behind giving a red to the player after giving that penalty was because the xolos play made no attempt to make a play on the ball and stopped a goal scoring opportunity. Therefore its a red. athe union player didn’t get a red because he attempted to make a play on the ball, therefore only getting a yellow. If these calls were made in favor of your team, you would not be complaining.

First Red Card/Philly penalty: Clear shove from behind as last man. In the box, but not a legitimate attempt to play the ball. Clear as day red card. If you disagree with this call it's just your own bias speaking. Xolos penalty: Penalty correctly given. This was not in any way DOGSO though, there is no serious argument for a red card. Second red card: I hope they have a different angle than what they're showing us because that doesn't look like a foul to me.
