Forgive my rambling! So many things running through my head with this one. We will be doing the history version of Uprising tomorrow so that we can get the full story behind the song. Hope you will join me ;)

Nothing to forgive, Sabaton can have that effect. I could be wrong but I think this is at a concert in Poland a few years ago. You should check out" 40 to 1" live from that concert, a song near and dear to Poland

Woodstock in Poland is the largest rock concert, possibly not only a rock concert in the world, which is 3 days long. And usually there are from 500,000 people to 750,000

Probably largest average attendace, in moscow there was once a live performance which had over 1.2million people attending and one in brazil i think but i dont remember how many there were. But those are one time records, woodstock poland has an AVERAGE of 500,000+ people and in this concert there was a bit over 550,000 people attending the whole festival and on top of that over 250,000 people went just to listen to sabaton😂 Absolute insanity numbers❤

The crowd screams “Warszawo Walcz!” Which means Warsaw Fight! But Warsaw is in the vocative case, so Warsaw has a personal, almost Human Identity. Think the spirit of the city, it’s soul.

Love this song, history coming alive! As a historian, I approve of this content :D It is a very harsh history behind this song, but an inspiring one as well. You'll learn all about it with Sabaton History tomorrow!

You want to hear their song about the True Hero. Captain Witold Pilecki. Was a Polish cavalry officer, intelligence agent, and resistance leader. Early in World War II he co-founded the Secret Polish Army resistance movement. In 1940 Pilecki volunteered to allow himself to be captured by the occupying Germans in order to infiltrate the Auschwitz concentration camp. At Auschwitz he organized a resistance movement that eventually included hundreds of inmates, and he secretly drew up reports detailing German atrocities at the camp, which were smuggled out to Home Army headquarters and shared with the Western Allies. The saddest thing is that the Allies (UK) did not invite Poles to the Victory Parade. (After the end of the war). Despite this, we fought for Great Britain, for the whole of Europe. We have suffered a lot over the centuries as a Nation and the world still does not respect us. :(

Thank you for this response.🙏 We can certainly learn something about how our ancestors lived through the wars. It is important never to forget this. Most of their songs are written about heroism in war. Unfortunately, there are still too many Wars in this World. Peace on earth 🌏 I pray for a better world 🍀💫🌐

A mounth ago we had 79. th anniversart of begining this heroic, however tragic uprising, which ended with 200,000 civilian casualties and 17,000 killed insurgents and 19 000 of Germans, and all city was devastated in 80%. This uprising lasted 63 days, and Polish people fight without great support of alliance. I am not going to judge this, bacuase who the hell am i to judge decision of people, who lived in this fucked up times, which was World War II. But the most important is to tdraw conclusions, that this tragedy never happens again. The more so that in Poland we are brought up in the cult of the Armia Krajowa (AK) and we practically never criticize it, which unfortunately does not bode well for us.

1.Yes it was in Poland. 2. No it isn't about Warsaw Ghetto Uprising in 1943. It is about Warsaw uprising in 1944. Bigger and more important in Polish history.
