I can't get over what a beaming ray of sunshine Rhiannon is, I really noticed it this episode. So cheerful and smiley, don't ever change! And cool twist that Sentry might have to be reincarnated as something else, instead of just coming back, if they do revive her, interesting. When they said they had experience with ghosts and stuff all I could think was (yeah they ran away... lol) but the party is stronger now. Off topic, I started watching Dead Reckoning a little while ago, Kim's Worthless is creepy AF... And I love it! Tarin and Worthless are great.

With my games we usually do the 4d6 drop lowest rule. My brother constantly rolls 18's and to keep from having a character with over 16 in all his stats we always have to lower his and its hilarious. I get that it's not his fault that his stats are always like that but it'd make his guys completely OP if I didn't lower them, truly nuts.

Oooh, interesting thought!! Like some organisation heard about the crash, assumed he was dead and seized the opportunity. And after they uncover the impostor and things are straightened out, we get a really interesting moment where the party realizes that the charade had been going on for an oddly long amount of time and Lucius confronts his family about how they didn't realize a stranger was living with them for almost a month and the Elinasto family is forced to recognize just how dysfunctional they are and this helps them address their issues and become better as a unit.

I mean you cannot tell me that the first continent was the only one with activity of Starbane's forces. On your second part, well they were between a rock and a hard place. (it would have been either a Archfiend or Starbane) And I think Starbane is the lesser of two evils.

I did something similar to that in a 3.5 Ed. game (or maybe it was Pathfinder). I was a Wizard and put most of my skill points in Craft and Profession skills (woodcarving, silversmithing, jewelry crafting, etc.) and saved up the majority of my adventuring monies. At 3rd level I took the Craft Wondrous Item feat and went into business selling enchanted items (almost exclusively with _Prestidigitation:_ tankards that keep drinks cold, plates that keep food warm, forks and spoons that flavor food, clothes that clean themselves, etc.). I then retired that character and he became the NPC that funded the party's expeditions for the rest of the campaign.

Now the gods are acting and choosing chosens to fight back. It's weird. There is 3 things that could have happened, from what I know, all with vast differences. 1. They could have won and stopped the portal from opening, continued on the adventure. I am sure the Starbane stuff would have all happened eventually 2. They let the demon out and basically become evil characters in order to survive. 3. This, the thing that from what Mark said was the least likely. The ritual is probably the Gentle Repose spell, or its 5e equivalent. That being the case, Quill can probably already learn it, and Nova is currently disdaining all academia.

If Qill is high enough level to cast it he would already know it, it is a Cleric spell and Cleric's don't learn spells, they have access to every spell the class can cast, just need to prepare. I am pretty sure he already has it. And if my assumption is right and Nova switched from path of the tome to something else, I don't think she can cast the spell.

Most effects that deal force damage are spells, including magic missile and spiritual weapon" phb pg 196 Its not force as in kinetic energy that pushed and pulls its more magical than that and should probably have been named something like "arcane/magic damage" instead. So even if her blast are force it lacks the kinetic force to do it if that makes sence.

Unfortunately the magic to restore a severed or destroyed limb/organ (Regenerate) is a 7th level spell. They're having trouble finding people with 5th level spell slots, let alone someone with magic orders of magnitude more powerful. For my part I'm expecting the magical artifact Hesper mentioned to be some sort of magical replacement for one of Quill's limbs.

Im interested to see how that will affect sentry's story, especially her "model" being one of a kind. Assuming they use reincarnate and she is no longer a guardian, the use that her model has is no more. Not sure if she would even be able to continue with her own storyline as a guardian and as the sentry "model". Of course, she would probably change her mission from finding the prime to protecting the party, how well she would take that change in stride, is, well, up to Rhiannon. Who knows, maybe they even fail the ressurection time limit somehow. I really like all this.
