Will I keep going until I've covered all of Nebraska? Maybe. I always think of this album around October because of how, well, haunting it is. Skylar and I had some spare time in Charlotte after a beach trip and recorded this in my parents' backyard.

"Nebraska" is a particularly outstanding Bruce album in many ways. For me, it is not only the relative simplicity of the recording and extraordinary power of the songs and lyrics, but also that Bruce recorded much of, "Nebraska" in a house he rented from my cousin at that time in Colt's Neck, NJ To say it was a memorable time for me is a huge understatement. You and Skylar have done a superb version; truly in the very best senses.

This old codger from Scotland has been listening for some time now-in years- and admire the breadth of songs both covers( I put that down to fine parental guidance, ha ha ) and original stuff. Nebraska got a hipster renaissance in the early oughties. For a certain type of person it's the most essential Springsteen album. I was always too big a fan of the E Street Band to put it toward the top but I understand people that do. Top notch songwriting as always with The Boss.

What a time to be alive. I was listening to LCD Soundsystem song "All My Frirends", I thought the opener sounded like a Porter Robinson song, so I found a reddit thread talking about it. Someone mentioned Matt Healy from The 1975 also interpolated part of that song. The post mentioned another quote where Matt said they wanted to make their album like Springstein's "Nebraska". I hadn't heard it, so I started listening through. I recognized this song immediately as one of my favorite Carson covers, so now I'm back here again wondering how it's possible to sing this beautifully.
