So well filmed and what a great camp spot. I love the sound of a stream to help sleep better. Well done for being careful and not risking getting lost 😊

@@Chilternwildcamper Thanks Lesley - really appreciate the support. It did feel much more remote in the Cairngorms - really felt like a place not to take lightly. The sound of the stream was amazing (not for everyone), but I was out. The old phrase ‘slept like a log’. All the best 👍🏼😊

Nice wee adventure Craig. Looks like you had a great time. Have you now got the Scottish bug ? The Lake District is great, but it doesn't have the wildness and solitude of many parts of Scotland. And, of course, wild camping opportunities are endless without worrying about landowners. Thanks for taking us along.😁👍

@@huntonthetrails I couldn’t agree more. Scotland is so different than the Lake District. It feels so much more raw and wild. It’s the last true wilderness in the UK - definitely got the Scottish bug. Itching to get back and explore some more. Thanks for watching and for the kind words. All the best 👍🏼😊

Spot on Craig, Cairngorms are a tough challenge, though I`ve never been, the remoteness, changeable weather and terrain so fair play. A wise man knows when to change his plans as getting lost in a whiteout is not enjoyable, foolishly I`ve been there when I was younger and got lucky and found my way. Keep em coming, chin chin

Thanks again for the support Dave - really appreciate it. Totally agree. The sheer sense of remoteness of the location quickly made you realise that it’s not a place mess about! Very different feel to the Lakes. Kind of glad I didn’t discover it when I was younger and dumber - no doubt be a different experience. All the best 😊

Loved this trip, mate. Im hoping to go make a video in Scotland this autumn, such a beautiful place. Take it with a pinch of salt but i dont think the fade to black transitions are really needed for this type of video. Im still getting the hang of making content and editing so disregard if you like 😅

@@Chronically_Outdoors thanks for the support and kind words mate - really appreciate it. 👍🏼😊.I can imagine Scotland will be stunning in autumn 🍂. I’d highly recommend it and looking forward to seeing your video. Thanks for the suggestion on the fading. I’m always open to suggestions on how to improve the videos. Still learning and appreciate the advice my friend 😊👍🏼

@@craig-outdooradventure4632 the main reason I want to go later in the year is in hopes the midges have died down lol. You're great at talking to the camera, I think you're gonna go far bud. I have been playing with transitions, and have settled on not using them much. I think videos like ours just look better without them. I look forward to your next video mate :)

@@Chronically_Outdoors a good strategy my friend. The bugs were pretty relentless this time of year, plenty ticks too. I genuinely appreciate the honest feedback and support buddy. Keep getting out and enjoying the outdoors 👍🏼😊
