Lower and upper silvas lakes trail is a pet friendly trail located just outside ketchikan Alaska and is a nice, easy, and well taken care of trail that offers opportunities to see two lakes nestled in a backdrop of mountains. Keep your eyes open for bald eagles, black bear, deer and plenty of vegetation, moss and pine.

As a kid in the early 70' s myself and my buddies in boy scout troop 14 blazed the trail into both lakes. An adventure that as a grown adult I will cherish. Congratulations on seeing a land that is far beyond what the youngsters of today will Never experience. I long to back in the days of non technology that existed then.
