What a beautiful walk. You are definitely getting me in the mood to return to North Wales after so many years to try some walks. Shame it's so far from where I live in Hampshire. Will have to think about staying somewhere and doing a few walks.

I think men and women could certainly go out and have plutonic friendship, I also see hiking as a great date LOL. Nice when you leave in the rain for a hike and then the sun comes out , better than the opposite, of course you had to go back to rain gear LOL. People who have dogs that would attack other dogs should be on a leash. Great job to protect your dog , yeah I can imagine the memory bringing up nervousness. Great hike along the river awesome views, and waterfalls , always love a water fall big or small. You sound giddy lol, great to hear anyone being happy. I've seen several hike from the UK with those lovely stone walls like at 15:50 and on I just think of the amount of work that went into those . Was a great hike thanks for taking us along, have a lovely rain

Dry stone walls are everywhere here in the UK and yes definitely an art to building them 😊. Thank you so much for commenting and I'm glad you enjoyed the walk ♥️

@@carol_ann_living.in.the.moment I have to ask my son if he ever studied anything about those stone fences and walls he's a civil engineer seems to be a think he might have looked at lol. We have one community here in Newfoundland where there are remains of a lot of them but really weather beaten and worn , I suspect from early European settlers to Newfoundland. I'm amazed with the amount of work that must have went into them.

Really enjoying your vlogs Carol, 'absolutely lovely', to use your turn of phrase 😁 I love your chatty walks, and your little general chats too, always find out something new 🙏 Must add that walk to my list. Was at the Cwm Idwal end today - managed to get out before the crazy weather hit, waves of at least 2 feet in places on Llyn Ogwen😮 Look forward to your next adventure 👏

Oh wow that's crazy, don't think I've ever seen waves on there. It's a great walk to do, it's also really nice if you do Bangor to Bethesda...lots of tunnels along the route 😀

The Ogwen Valley walk/ bike ride is one of my favourites 😍😍. The start at Bangor up to the yellow gate where you started from is a good walk. Lots of uphill bits , though 😂. I've not been to the cafe as always had picnics with me and cafe was always packed 😱. The flapjack sound very interesting 😋. Not been along that path with the slate plinths. Does it start from the cafe? Where does it go to?
@carol_ann_living.in.the.moment2 ай бұрын
Yes ive done the Bangor to Bethesda walk think there's an earlier video on here. The other walk from the cafe takes you around the lake and you can also go up into the mountains to Devils Kitchen. Lovely walk 😊
