My wife and I enjoy autumn and winter hikes far more than spring and summer hikes. I think it's because it's more quiet in the forest this time of year. Thanks for taking us along on your adventures.

You're so right - take the time to look around and you'll see tons of interesting stuff. Not enough people stop to actually look at what's going on around them.

I've been considering hiking the Ouachita trail a ways here where I live. This really inspires me to do it soon. You are like me, stopping to appreciate the little things.

Your in my old territory now. Been up there often. I've never seen a bigfoot, just a few bears. A little piece of info for you, if you are interested, that railyard on the river belongs to the Reading and Northern Railroad. The station was built in the late 90s. It is a replica of the original Reading Lines station that was once located there. Also, a few years back, a homeless man lived beneath that bridge for the entire winter. Thanks for these awesome vids. It would be awesome to do one of these adventures with you.

Is that fog or smoke from the fire?

Do you find a lot of transients living under the bridge? Is that part of the trail or a shortcut? Great resting place in summer, I bet!

Never found anybody living under a bridge, and yes it is the actual trail.
