@@ZachAdkinsGuitar here’s a quick little story for you. When I was 13 I went and saw a kiss at a place called Spartanburg memorial auditorium in Spartanburg, South Carolina. It was the Hot in the shade tour. Well a fight broke out next to me, so Paul stopped the show and called for security. Well, the spotlight literally shown down on me and security grabbed me and Paul said no not that dude the dude over there so they grabbed the guy and took him away. Paul’s response was, “Hey when you take him backstage measure his ass to make sure my size 10 boot fits up it”. it was hilarious because once again he’s trying to sound like a big tough guy and he is far from it. And for some reason, it always goes back to the ass for him. 😂😂😂😂😂

If you ever saw the footage of Twisted Sister's Dee Snyder speaking at the congressional hearings in the 1980's on the censorship rock, metal and rap music, I think Dave would have been just as good of a person to be speaking against censorship. Dee walked up to the podium with his long hair, t-shirt, ripped jeans, pulls out a crumpled and folded up piece of paper from his back pocket while chewing away on a piece of gum. He set them up to expect a man who could barely strong together 2 words... then, he opened his mouth. His speech of was of the most intelligently articulated speeches at the hearing. It played a big part in the outcome Former VP Al Gore's wife and her PMRC group wanted to be able to have music they deemed offensive banned and removed from record store shelves. As a result of the speeches in favor of free speech by guys like Dee, a compromise was reached. Music came labeled with a parental advisory sticker instead, leaving it up to parents to decide if something was inappropriate for their kids to listen to... now, that also assumed the parents were present when the kids bought the album, but whatever.

Dave is hilarious!!! When i first saw them, someone's glasses got on stage,he picked them up amd said some asshole lost his glasses,holds them up and lets them drop! Lol! Also at the same show Scott Weiland got a beer bottle thrown at him ,and of course he was pissed and deservedly so,he said if you all don't fucking stop we're fucking leaving! I thought we were going to have an Axl moment,when he goes out into the crowd,but we didn't. Also You should put some Marilyn Manson clips in,some people in the audience tried to pick a fight with him,they had to oull him back and some i think he got a few punches in. Awesome video!

I doubt there is a video of this but in the Omni in Atlanta where I saw Twisted Sister, Dee Snyder told everyone to stand up, then singled out someone who didn't and proceeded to insult him for longer than I wanted to listen. I was there to see the headline band, not TS; I had no idea who they were at the time. Apparently this one sitting down person threatened his control of the crowd. Poor diddums.

The only meltdown I ever saw live was Megadeth opening for Aerosmith on the 4th of July in 1994 at Alpine Valley in Wisconsin. Dave stopped his show to ask an audience member why he was flipping him off. The audience member said something to the effect of: I want to hear some good rock and roll. A long pissy Dave rant followed before resuming the show.

My fave meltdown sadly wasn't captured on camera. This is quite a long post, so get comfy. There was a band called Capricorns that played a small venue in my town, the same night as Red Sparowes and Jesu were playing right across the street, but the promotor had timed the gig so that we could see both shows if we wanted to. And we did. So did the two bands that were playing with Capricorns. They played shortened sets and got thier gear packed away in super quick time. This made Capricorns mad. This was thier first headline tour, and nobody wanted to be there any longer than neccessary. Anyway, they took the stage and the frontman, in a really stroppy voice said 'Actually, we're called Capricorns, not _The_ Capricorns, ok". Nobody knew what he was talking about, but it turned out that he had overheard one of the bar staff had telling a customer that a band called The Capricorns were playing. Big deal. Like really, who cares? So, the show goes on and he starts acting like a child, complaining about the spotlight pointing at the stage, saying that it's too bright. Everybody band who ever played there gets the same lighting. It's a basement bar, that holds about 80 people max. They don't have an expensive lighting rig. Just some lights. He whinged about it for about 2 minutes between each song, until eventually he started shouting the the sound guy. "Hey, you! Asshole! Turn that f*cking light off!" To his eternal credit, the sound guy turned the entire row of spotlights on, right into his stupid face. That was it. he took his guitar off and went; "Right, fine. Go to the other gig. Why did you even f*cking bother coming in the first place? We're _Capricorns_ and we won't be f*cking back. F*ck you' We all just waved goodbye and left, in fits of laughter. I never heard of them again. Jesu and Red Sparowes were awesome.

there's a video of stanley's wig coming off. sorry zack, never a kiss fan. i had to endure the first record and kiss army. early BOC got very heavy, 4 guitars, sonic waves sounding very primal. godzilla had them wearng hawaiian shirts, different fans with gasmasks. success took away their edge. bowie stopped a show in hollywood amphitheater, bouncers beating up the crowd in front. diamond dogs, guys in dresses and pumps, before cobain. rebel rebel. great band. bowie knows how to be very heavy. at times. " you'll be shooting up on everything, tomorrow's never there." totally apocalyptic. he's dead and I'm still here. amazing. everyone with cell phones isn't about the power of music. we weren't fans. we were them and they were us. shame about puddle of mud. schizsofrenic psycho is a classic. he wrote some great songs people identified with.

You have to wonder if these are real incidents, and not staged. I've seen at least 3 videos of Van Halen in the 80s where they did this stunt where some guy in the front row throws water on David Lee Roth, who then says, "I'm gonna f**k your girlfriend after the show." It was totally staged. 3 different shows, exact same thing.

Lars is a prick. When Napster was around he sued a 13 year old girl b/c she loved Metallica but was too poor to buy any CD's. When he found out she was 13- he sued her Grandfather. That is crazy. Why was she living with her Grandfather? Besides the Beatles they are the richest band. If it was me I would have flown to meet her- give her all the CD's and some Metallica shirts.
