"WHEEEEERE'S THE BAGS????" I saw this in the theater and everyone was HOWLING at this part... God Bless Clara Peller and Nedra Volz. I remember the latter from "Diff'Rent Strokes" too.

This movie was on HBO constantly in like 1986, saw it so many times. I didn't yet realize the absolute genius of Fred Willard yet, but I was on my way!

John Murray was actually good in this, like he was channeling his brother Bill. He should have been in more stuff.

You can include the rest of the scene I mean the fact that they end up on the active runway between two texting Jets is the best part I can't believe that this cuts right off of it

When this movie came out in 1985 both of our local papers gave it a two start rating. When watching MV in the theatre the hilarity of it was to the point where I found myself pounding the empty seat in front of me! I still quote lines from it over thirty seven years later! “When the going get tough the tough get going….in their pants!” And if I see someone (usually a guy) who happens to resemble a pop music star I can’t help but say “I have all of your albums!”. Great movie! Have to see it again real soon!

A yellow 1968 Impala 4 door in mint condition back then. She probably drove no more than 1,000 miles a year in it and it never left Los Angeles.

@alexisdiva9 Жыл бұрын
Loretta here (Nedra Voltz's character) definitely shouldn't be driving since she's practically totally blind even with glasses: she mistook the tall African American airport employee for her short friend Emma Jean (Clara Peller); she got in the wrong car and mistook a standard poodle for Emma Jean; she later drives on a landing strip; she gets the bathrooms mixed up and sits on a urinal, thinking it was a toilet, etc.
