The "which dinosaur could fly" card is strange because on one hand it's really clever and correctly teaches kids that pterodactyls aren't dinosaurs, but on the other hand the idea that no dinosaurs could fly is outdated now considering the closer links between birds and dinosaurs discovered over the years

I vividly remember one that showed Mario in medieval armor kneeling before Peach, it was my favorite card because I just liked how Mario in armor looked. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

My sister had all the Horrible History cards back in the day. you had a starter pack then with every magazine you bought you got more cards but never the same ones as the ones you already had, so was really easy to complete the set. after the first couple of issues, the shop would stop selling them and you had to get them via subscription/ order online. around the time my sister moved out, my dad auctioned of the collection on eBay, and it gathered a huge interest. the winner was some guy from Germany who bid over £300 for the set. WOW!

Pterosaurs are a complete separate group from Dinosaurs. Same for Mosasaurus or Pleisosaurus. Pterosaurs could fly, but they were not a dinosaur, but related. Some dinosaurs could glide, such as Microraptor or Archaeopteryx, but these days, when someone says the word dinosaur, it either means bird or the dinosaurs. The correct question should be What non-avian dinosaur flies?

FYI, it is actually possible to make gold from other metals through radiation decay on certain non-stable isotopes. The gold produced through such means is radioactive and expensive as sin, and the amount is microscopic- but it can technically be done if someone really wanted to.

To be fair, the time one - places do set up their own crazy time rules. And not even just countries, but sections of countries do, with the Daylight Savings Time. And how Newfoundland is half an hour off from the rest of Canada. Saskatchewan doesn't go along with DST either, so you have to do different math, depending on the time of year.

Clearly, you don't have kids watching "Dinosaur Train" on PBS. This show follows an entire family of pterodactyls, and they have entire episodes dedicated to beating the fact that pterodactyls are NOT actual dinosaurs into your head, despite the fact that the title and entire premise of the show is about learning about dinosaurs who ride on trains for no apparent reason.
