"What is alchemy?" It's the science of understanding deconstructing and reconstructing matter. However, it is not an all-powerful art. It is impossible to create something out of nothing. If one wishes to obtain something, something of equal value must be given. This is the law of equivalent exchange, the basis of all alchemy. In accordance with this law, there is a taboo among alchemists: human transmutation is strictly forbidden. But what could equal the value of a human soul...?

Clearly, you don't have kids watching "Dinosaur Train" on PBS. This show follows an entire family of pterodactyls, and they have entire episodes dedicated to beating the fact that pterodactyls are NOT actual dinosaurs into your head, despite the fact that the title and entire premise of the show is about learning about dinosaurs who ride on trains for no apparent reason.

Welcome to the 19th century Jwittz, scientists always knew that Pterodactyls or rather Pterosaurs weren't Dinosaurs since the beginning. It's pop culture that didn't get memo, they can't even tell the difference between the pelican-like Pteranodon and seagull-like Pterodactylus. Also, there were Dinosaurs that could fly, Birds can and so can their relatives such as Microraptor.
@i.m.evilhomer50846 жыл бұрын
Peter von Feldt (Oh great, on a dumb Mario video of all things) You say that despite the fact many of the scientists that proved Evolution were Christians (like me). Charles Darwin was a Christian himself and was buried in Westminster Abbey and a Christian minister known as Robert T. Bakker was one of the many scientists instrumental in raising awareness that Birds were descended from small feathered Dinosaurs and that Dinosaurs were active and intelligent animals and not brain dead and lethargic monsters. We can also go far back to the St. Augustine of Hippo, who argued against a literal understanding of scripture. You also have to realise that a theory is different to a scientific theory. A layman theory is somewhat of a guess, while a scientific theory is based on multiple hypotheses that have gone through rigorous testing and a lot of scrutiny through peer reviewed journals. I suggest you watch AronRa's video and argue with him, you might learn a thing or two and perhaps gain a appreciation for metal.
@Compucles6 жыл бұрын
While there's no reason that creationism and micro-evolution can't co-exist, there's also no way to definitively prove evolution until someone can actually track the actual modern evolution of a species into a different one over time through individual subjects. This includes the fact that different species are incapable of cross-breeding beyond a single generation, otherwise they're just breeds or sub-species of the same species. While scientific theories indeed have much more solid evidence behind them than normal theories, they still haven't been completely proven, otherwise they would be among the list of scientific laws rather than just being theories.
@i.m.evilhomer50846 жыл бұрын
Compucles Look up "Big Bird Galapagos Islands", let's not forget about the variation and diversity of domesticated animals and plants compared to their wild ancestors. Fruit like the banana were nothing but hardy seed packets until we got a hold of them. There's also a video from Trey the Explainer that lists other examples in more depth.
@killdozer77926 жыл бұрын
"Except theyve since conducted new research that proves they were wrong." Says that, doesn't explain how. Meanwhile, I have provided a very specific explaination as to why pterosaurs are not dinosaurs. Try harder next time, little boy. X3
@Compucles6 жыл бұрын
Everything on the Galapagos Islands were already diversified when they were discovered. Nobody actually observed it happening. It is very likely to be the result of evolution, but it can't be proven. Humans engaging in genetic engineering is not the same thing as natural evolution. Neither is selective breeding, as no new species are created. The old seed packets are still perfectly capable of cross-breeding with the modern fruits.
