Folks, make sure to read the description on this channel. There's a lot of relevant info about a given car and often its driver. This R32 is pretty amazing. Just sitting there, it still sounds like it's inhaling pets and small children. A rocket on the track.

The description of a given video follows suit, providing additional information that actually matters. If you have a question as to the stated power of the R32, there are better ways of receiving an answer.

Only in North America is this actually impressive. In lots of European countries manual transmissions far outnumbered autos over the last 20 years, same with Japan. If you couldnt drive a manual, chances are you weren't driving, period. Those who know how to drive stick cant help but shake their heads when people have serious problems driving that platform considering it used to be the norm

Fun fact - The original Group A Japanese driver K. Hoshino wasn't sure about the capability of this car before the race, after test driving it he called the car a "monster" and "unbeatable". Also, due to the car's suspension setup, one of the car's front wheel is usually in the air when cornering.

I remember back in the days of Playstation one, Gran Turismo is where some of us got to first learn of the greatness the Calsonic R32 had to offer. Cars like this in games made me go out and research the real life counterpart and it literally set a solid direction for my taste in cars.

there is a thread about a rich guy bought this gtr and he found that the maf sensor goes to nowhere. So, nobody wasnt really figuring out how much power put during that bathurst

No, that would be a 1J and 2JZ, they addressed the faults that the RB26 had, shit oil pumps and oiling. 2JZ is one of the best engines in the World, a giant killer.

Every time you post either of Nissan's famous GTR lineage,be it R35's or Skylines,you always pick the best specimen and this one is very special indeed.Dedication to build it like original Group A car is astonishing.Very fast and it eats corners like nothing without any aero.Driver is very impressive and handles the beast in spectacular fashion.Outside shots wonderfully capture it's speed and onboard is fantastic.Thanks for sharing this gem.

This car is not exactly the same version (Australian version was made with lots of custom racing parts from local fabricators I believe, correct me if I'm wrong) but the Aus. version sure did kick ass in the early 90s at Bathurst!

@@alwaysturnonaircon Of course all race cars in such events are custom built, but I am not talking about all race cars, I am talking about the R32 GTR specifically. Nismo sent over JGCT-spec GTRs to the race teams in Australia but the cars were not appropriate for Bathurst and the high level of competition there, so the Aussie teams decided to custom fabricate parts for the GTR to suit Bathurst better.

The thing that always gets me about this particular set up of the r32 is the sound. It’s absolutely terrifying. Sounds nothing like the street ones and they sound great don’t get me wrong but the group a side exits paired with the tune sound like a demon.
