I respect her conversion , since it's her individual right. But she'd been wrongly persuaded that only if she does all rituals, god accepts her prayers (in Hinduism). Nothing like that, Lord Krishna says, that he needs only complete surrender, nothing else. Whatever relegion you follow, you need to surrender completely. After all God is One. Every relegion follow certain rituals as per their custom. But nowhere in Hinduism it's been said, you'd get god's blessings only if you follow certain rituals.

From what I have noticed, the more religiously orthodox you are, the more easy it is to convert a person into another religion. I recently got an ultra-orthodox Brahman girl converted to Christianty. The girl said that she was following all the Brahman traditions religiously because her parents told her to do so and she did so without any questioning.

Forced conversions are wrong in Christianity, however there are certain groups or churches that engage in such activities. The catholic church strongly condemns forced conversions. There is no use converting to Christianity for money or food because being a Christian requires you to follow Christ.
