The situation is not as grim as this video seems to imply - but the diaspora Indians in Jamaica could do with any help they can get. Perhaps this video was about some remote village - a little far way from the capital, Kingston. Jamaica has some excellent local Indian musicians such as Johnny Mykoo - and get visiting Indian artistes and priests from the USA, Suriname,Trinidad, Guyana, and India. We should also try to help the diaspora Indians in Belize (formerly British Honduras). I don't know much about them, but they exist there - probably in a similar demographic-percentage as in Jamaica. As if by some miracle I encountered this video this day, interestingly just 2 day's ago I began to forensically evaluate the Hindu situations in Guyana, and after frightening deciphering I realized that Forbes Burnham unintentionally saved Hinduism in Guyana, and today Hindus especially east Indian Guyanese are putting Mala on the memory of Cheddi Jagan and his political son's and daughters, when there's overwhelming evidence showing that Cheddi Jagan was a senior evilness against Hinduism and East Indian Guyanese,to understand and appreciate that as truth, you have to relinquish your mental laziness and racist antics.

No. Even in trinidad and Guyana about a quarter to a half of Indians converted to Christianity. I can't imagine jamaica where indians are just a tiny percentage. Most are Douglas too. Only Surinam they haven't been targeted by missionaries

I was born in Jamaica, and the East Indians living there they by themselves.For some reason I don't really know what they think of black people, although I know some of them are very much racist against black people.I remembered there was some Indians useto living in the Kingston 11 areas, they never want to mixed with black people into nothing at all.So the black people said that must have to stop, because we are the majority of the people.Before they allowing black people to play cricket, and dominoes with them.But they want to sell black people their calaloo, so we did Stop buying from them, because of their racist stands against black people.

Those Indians that came as slaves of the British, again a very tiny percentage as majority of the slaves went to Guyana and Trinidad. This does not equate to Jamaicans are from India lol. The majority are African origin. And a small percentage mixed with Chinese. Get your facts straight buddy!! Take a look at most Jamaicans, they are African looking. The ones with Indian roots will look Indian.
