Oh and that “people fighting each other” is called moshing and the circle it happens in is a mosh pit. On metal concerts its very common and it can be pretty violent but its really fun! You really just loose control and fly around. It also has its rules of course its not a real fight so you don’t hit someone and also if someone goes down the moshing stops and people help him/her to the feet and than it continues. So it looks more violent than it actually is

Nishil Bright Than you have to come to concerts with me because I am an magnet to mosh pits 😂. Where I stand they open up ALWAYS! One time i was on a concert alone and the pit just opend up around me and i didn’t even notice until someone pulled me out. And on my last concert and just went in for the first time in my live and i will do it again!!!

as person who have seen like 80% of their live performances i must say that they have been very carefull about this and many times they interupted songs and payed atention to their fans and was like hold on hold on if somebody falls!!! PICK EM UP!!! ITS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CARE FOR EACH OTHER i remember that it was performance of papercut etc when this happened and they started papercut again from the start cuz of this :)

That concert was the Road To Revolution at the Milton Keynes Bowl UK back in 2008. There were over 70,000 fans there and I was one of them. Chester is a legend and the best vocalist of this generation. He voice was unrivalled and will never be matched again. Given up is famous for the 17 second scream. LPs lyrics are even more profound since Chester's passing. I miss him immensely and thank God that I was able to see his last performances in London. #RIPChester.

"How is his vocals able to do that after singing so long?" - man, I've been asking that same question all these years and I still don't have an answer for that.. he's hitting those higher octave notes while distorting his vocals that's why, for me, his vocal style is the most difficult to replicate among the rock/heavy metal artists..

I was on Instagram. Which led me to the concert. Which led me here. I found it amusing bc of the contrast in emotions, in another video. But not to belittle the tragedy at all. I don't try and think of Chester as only his death. But his moments too, while he was actually here. I mean, this could've been an obvious sign. But alotta ppl scream out pain & not die. He did bc he chose to, rip. But I wouldn't have known in this actual moment either. But in the other video, it's other angles. Everyone looks mad while one dude just seems chill. I'm not wrong for that right? It's like the life is peachy, Korn's album cover. They all look insane while David just looks yaaaaay🕺no? Ok 😔

Pretty much most of their songs is about mental health/depression/suicide Giving that, his death didn't really come as a surprise, but only at that point. In interviews Chester was so heartwarming and caring for others, talking freely about his children (of which he had 6), making it a huge surprise. About the "fighting", also called "moshing" it is not always harmless, but intend to be. I myself only do it when its music for which its appropriate and I see others doing it, its sometimes really fun lmfao. While if its a band i've really wanted to see and been fan of for long, I prefer just enjoying the music. Its of course always up to your mood and the other peoples mood, whether its a festival or just a concert. :) BTW please react to "By myself" or "A place for my head" really good songs aswell.

The thing you call fight is called mosh pitting. Mosh pits are a common thing in metal shows. It's just a circle where people run around and rock out as hard as they can. When I was at a festival where LP played last year, there wasn't a mosh pit in their show, but one band that played before them asked fans to do a mosh pit. It was pretty big, so people weren't really bumping into eachother, but when it's really packed up and full of metal fans, there isn't much space and people tend to bump into eachother like this. It's just about fun, it's not about hurting eachother Btw, oh my god, that was a long scream, you didn't know what's coming :D He could do the 18 second scream in this song, in one piece, did it in the studio and live a few times aswell. And really, hitting that crazy high note right after that, that's ridiculous And also, I think world record for the longest scream is almost a minute. That's even crazier. I mean, this is godly, but 1 minute that's like, impossible

"Pushing each other" is Moshing. It's been a part of heavy metal concerts for over 30 years. You get so amped by the music it feels good to push and get pushed. Very cathartic.

Chester was always known as a master of technique he explained it really well in the carpool karoke he did just before he died. He always said you don't scream from your throat (it's how people damage their voices) and instead you push from the diaphragm.

First time I met linkin park was in 2009 with their minutes to midnight tour. Chester was sick the entire concert with a cold and he still was able to hit all of his notes. It was incredibly impressive. He was a very nice man and mike was just super outgoing with his fans. It's sad that I cant hear linkin park live with Chester again
