Namjoons lyrics are like peeling an onion, there are so many layers to just one line, don't piss the boy off, he'll come at you. As an Idol he has to put on a specific persona all innocent and clean and when people put him down for it, he can't do anything about it but smile, but when solo, he vents all that pent up bullsh*t and here is a prime example. RM is one of the best rappers in the world today, he has substance in lyrics.

It's fun to see a reactor actually being smart enough to decipher this message from the first listen. Since some of his messages aren't really on the nose, like joke, which as you rightfully realized is kind of meta in itself, many don't actually realize his genius. Taking the techniques from other rappers, to show that he can do all that, but chooses not to. Flexing on them, while calling their skills useless. It's a genius move. Naming the song joke is the cherry on top for me. "Yeah, I just used 9 different flows back to back, showing of my flawless rhyme scheme, but it was just a joke to me, actually I don't needa do all that shit, to make actual good music."

9 flows, no chorus, straight bars! 🔥 Joke is an intelligent sattire for people who think rapping fast without any meaningful lyrics and flow is cool or good. The bibbiby babbiby verse you heard him say is the joke of him dissing the mumble jumble rappers. Joke is not just "fast rap" with no meaning. RM is the KING of wordplays. He focuses a lot on lyricism, double/triple entendre and flow. He gets his inspiration from 90's hip hop if you wanna check out his first mixtape. Masterpiece! Thank you for not talk over the video, because a lot of just talked over the rap, and it makes me mad. RAP LINE SONGS: 1: UGH (LYRICS) 2: BTS CYPHERS (1-4) RM: rm started rapping in local amateur hip-hop circles with his self-composed recordings. RM started his career in the music world as a solo underground artist with the stage name ‘Runch Randal’. RM became a trainee for Big Hit Entertainment in 2010. RM is the first member to join BTS and he is a awesome, careful, humble leader of BTS. In 2015, he released his first solo mixtape, ‘RM’. In October 2018, his second mixtape ‘Mono’. was the highest-charting album by a Korean soloist on the Billboard 200 chart, having peaked at number 26. He has a recorded with artists such as Wale, Younha, Warren G, Gaeko, Krizz Kaliko, MFBTY, Fall Out, Boy, Primary and Lil NAS X. RM RAP SONGS: 1: Ddaeng (ft Suga, Jhope) 2: Forever Rain (MV & LYRICS) 3: Do You (MV & LYRICS) 4: everythinggoes (LYRICS) 5: moonchild (LYRICS) 6: 4 O’CLOCK (LYRICS) 7: Change (LYRICS) Jhope: J-Hope released his first solo mixtape, Hope World, in 2018. the album was met with a positive reception, and its subsequent debut and peak at number 63 and 38 respectively, made him the highest-charting solo Korean artist on the US Billboard 200 at the time. In September 2019, he released the single “Chicken Noodle Soup” featuring Becky G. It debuted at number 81 on the US Billboard Hot 100, which made him the first member of BTS with a Hot 100 hit under his own name. JHOPE SONGS: 1: Hope World (MV & LYRICS) 2: Chicken Noodle Soup w/ Becky G (MV & LYRICS) 3: Outro: Ego (LYRICS & MV) 4: Day Dream (MV & LYRICS) 5: Blue Side (OUTRO) (LYRICS) 6: Boy Meets Evil (LYRICS) (MV) Suga: Min Yoongi of BTS’S backstory in particular is one which used to consist of pain, hardship, and depression. Born of Daeugu, South Korea, he belonged to a very poor family. Though he was poor he used to go to school but instead of paying attention to the class he would write song lyrics on scraps and pieces of paper. Since a child he dreamed of becoming a singer. He did mention that when he was in sixth grade he was i inspired to make music after listening to “Epik High”. His lyrics are mostly about dissing haters and depression but he does make fire, good, fast raps with Jhope & RM. SUGA RAP SONGS: 1: Daechwita (MV & LYRICS) 2: First Love (LYRICS) 3: Honsool (LYRICS) 4: Agust D (MV & LYRICS)

RM has a really high IQ, super smart. Then there were so many underground and popular rappers that gave him and Suga shit for joining BTS, saying they sold out and that real rappers wouldn't do that. There were ever rappers giving them grief who openly admitted they had never listened to BTS or any of the BTS rap or their dolo rap

I love that you mentioned Nas too because RM considers him to be one of his main influences (and got shy when they met at an award show lol). If you listen to Hip Hop File (you dont have to review it just listen!) you can see just how much they appreciate the culture.

Hi i just saw your vid in recommendation. I love your reaction because you get what namjoon really meant. Btw, You should check hiphop lovers by bts that song indicates how they got into hiphop.

Just found your channel off of the nf video thought you would be bigger I like how you actually react and talk about the stuff going on. I recommend something from token my fav album by him is somewhere in-between so any song in their would be good or code red.
