Followed architects since day 1 and that song is probably my second favourite for that reason. It sounds freaking amazing and the lyrics, on more than one occasion its got me teary eyed. Saw it live and again on the royal albert hall stream and it never fails to set me off.

Sam Carter (the vocalist) mentioned in an interview that the overall message of the album was about the impending doom we’ve all been feeling for the last year or so. How the pressures of quarantine and not having normality can weigh on a persons mind. I see a lot of that in this song. For example “disasters breaking down my door” sounds like it’s in reference to the absolute shit show that last year was. He does also mention in this song about living in quarantine. Idk that’s just my opinion but I guess it’s open to interpretation

It’s an amazing album, I think my favorite track is impermanence with Winston McCall doing guest vocals on it. I just heard the album for the first time earlier today. I couldn’t wait for my vinyl copy to come in the mail with how the mail has been lately. Everytime I order something it’s takes a couple months.

@@ishaanbhattacharya9405 a friend of mine called me saying he had something for me. He gave me a copy of it, because he knew I had been waiting for it. I figured why not, I already bought it. Just waiting for my vinyl to come. I started collecting vinyl about 3 years ago. Apparently it came out like 3 weeks ago according to some people who said it leaked. But I have no clue where to find it. Kingdomleaks is shut down now. That was the only play up and running you could get music earlier. It shut down at the end of December 2020.

@@sixthcirclefr a buddy of mine found it and hooked me up so I could hear it. He knew i had been waiting for it. Even though I ordered a vinyl version the album. I’m still gonna get the album off iTunes, it’s definitely gonna be worth it to buy it. The singles are good, but they don’t give the rest of the album justice. There are some heavier songs on the album than the singles. But there are also some very melodic songs that send chills down your spine like the song Demi-God

Although I‘m not quite sure I like the path they are taking musically, Sam Carter has become such an amazing vocalist, Jesus Christ.
