Thanks for the Massachusetts love !! They have another great song called the" State of Massachusetts" used for MTV's Nitro Circus. This was also used as Papelbon's entrance music. It was also in the movie The Departed. Another great Boston band is The Mighty Mighty Bostones. You'll dig them, they are another style I'm sure you haven't heard( Skacore)

Celtic pronounced as a 'K', not an 'S'. Unless you're talking about the Boston Celtics NBA team. That's the only time I've heard the 'S' sound used. Bostonians gotta do it different in that case, I suppose.

I guess, it s because in irish ( not english) and breton ( 2 celtics languages) , celtic is pronounce with the S sound. and in english it 's probably the saxon ( germanic) K.

The Gaels (Irish, Welsh, Breton, etc) were only a small part of what was the Celtic world. I'm sure their own pronunciations of similar words varied depending on where you were. The celtic tribes likely didn't call themselves "Celts" over 2000 years ago anyway. Didn't that start as a Roman word for them?
