This song was my first introduction to Linkin Park. My friend had just bought their first album, *Hybrid Theory*, shortly after it came out, and the first thing we did after he bought it was listen to it. ‘Papercut’ is the first song, and we were both hooked immediately. I just now realized that was over half my life ago. I haven’t spoken to that friend in nearly a year. It’s the middle of the night right now, so I’m going to call him tomorrow. Thank you for stirring up that memory for me, Alex.

Yeah, we all heard “one step closer”, “crawling”, and “in the end” probably well before this album was in our possession but once you put that cd in the player, this is what started it all! Thank you for this! Rock on man 🤘🏼

This is Linkin Park's best song IMO. It has it all. The trademark LP sound, great composition, lyrics on point, and top it off with the beautiful interaction between Mike's rap and Chester's amazing angelic voice. Pure PERFECTION. The part starting at 2:50 to the end of the song is unreal, gives me goosebumps every single time.

Thank you so much for doing this video and song. This describes my PTS to the letter. And I have watched this video no less than 20 times. You hit the hammer Square on the head of the nail and drove that nail into the board flush on how this song relates to a lot of people.

I'd like to add on that any song by Amaranthe is amazing. My introduction to them was "Into The Nexus." "Burn With Me" is very good too. As are many others that I can't think of off the top of my head. If you decide to explore Amaranthe, do their ^ suggestion first before any of mine, for obvious reasons.

*React to Marilyn Manson - Long Hard Road Out Of Hell.* Its a single from the soundtrack to the 1997 motion picture Spawn. An arena rock and gothic rock song. Its from Antichrist Superstar era. The song is not one of the best of Manson (but still good), and the video-a real masterpiece, appreciated by critics for imagery - staging and execution at the highest level. Manson has said that he likes the video because "it's one part sexy and one part dark".
