Saw these guys in Norfolk VA 7-14-2017 right before they went to this gig in Hawaii at the Blue Note...They were FANTASTIC!!! This Song "Destiny" is one of my all time favorites. I got to take a picture with Bill Heller the Keyboardist. He was a cool Cat!!!

Incredibly tight, thumbs up to the whole band everyone playing the perfect part, Russ is very skilled at transitioning from the soft gentle flowing chords/melody to the power chords and staccato fills, one of the best and a unique style. I have all the early Rippingtons albums, yes it's a bit too smooth sometimes but Russ knows how to write a strong melody and lead a super tight band. Must have been great to have sat in on these sessions as the presenter did. Thanks guys I really appreciate it.

Their concerts sound so much like their recording.Exactly! You'll definitely get your money's worth! Seen them at Turtle Bay Resort on the North Shore in 05. Handsdown one of the best concerts of my Life. Any chances of recording another album using original Rippington members? Don't get me wrong ,I like the new guys too,but I miss the old guys as well. lol. Thanks Russ Freeman and The Rippingtons.

This is the current touring line up, most of these guys have been here for quite a few years... on Saxophone is Brandon Fields who is the latest addition to the group but he was the original sax player for The Rippingtons so he is back as compared to new and sometimes Jeff Kashiwa still plays with them instead of Brandon. Rico Belled is on bass, he replaced Kim Stone in 2009 (I am in the minority in preferring Rico over Kim). Bill Heller is on keyboard but has been there since 2001 along with Dave Karasony on the drums, so most of these people have been there for quite awhile.
