Include your name, state where and when you received your TESOL/TEFL, state what your Bachelor's degree is in and where you received it, state your experience. This could be volunteering at a summer camp, tutoring, homeschooling your kids, working at a church, etc.

Does the school called "Education First" accepts a certificate that I have attending a government college over her in Mexico which gave me an "English certificate as a second language" even though you mentioned that Education First only accepts "TESOL/TOEFL and a degree in whichever fiel"? Hi fuzile! Unfortunately EF is no longer hiring. You can still apply to teach adults but I’m not sure how that works or what the requirements are.

@@teachingwithkia1226 Hi Kia, I just looked at IOA's Web site. The price for the TESOL is $119.00. That's a huge jump from the $19 that you paid a few months ago. *Sigh* :(

Hi Kyra! EF wants applicants to physically be in the US and native speakers, so location may be an issue. Have you considered Cambly? Cambly hires worldwide ☺️

Got my interview tomorrow. It says it's for the adult program but i wanted to teach kids. Can i do this or is it too late? I didn't select adults! 😂

Hi!!!! Yes you can still teach kids but you are typically approved for adults first. If you also recorded your demo for the kids program, they will get back to you with an approval lol. So you don’t have to teach any adults at all if you don’t want to. 😉

Hi Franklin! If you are trying to apply to EF Kids…they are no longer hiring. They have ended all classes with foreign teachers.

Hi! Their website says they hire native English speakers, eligible to work in the USA and must physically be in the USA during your interview

Hello! Can you share the student cancellation policy? Do you get paid if the student cancels or does not show up within 24 hrs of the scheduled class time?

If you need to cancel a class before 24 hours you can do so without penalty. It’s a very easy process. ☺️

@@teachingwithkia1226....I was actually asking about the student cancellation or No Show policy. For example, in other ESL companies they fully pay you when the student either does not show up for class, or cancels within 24 hrs of the class time. I just wanted to confirm if it worked the same with EF.

@@maribenchluch2013 yes EF still pays when students no show. Classes are 25 min with 5 min break between so on the invoice pay shows as 0.5 (half hour), pay for student no show is 0.4. Hope that makes sense ☺️
