Not only the Togeshita station building collapsed, even the garden was abandoned as well. What a pity (sigh).

To Mr.dormcat Good morning, It's the autumn equinox, how are you doing now? I read your comment after a long time. (Based on Wikipedia) Tōgeshita Station[former Rumoi Main Line] Opening→November 23th, 1910 Abolition→April 1st, 2023 Trains could be exchanged at this station. It located between Teshio and Mashike mountain range. (According Hokkaidō Shimbun Newspaper) The station building, which had been deteriorating, since the beginning of last year, appears to have collapsed under the weight of the accumulated snow. It would be natural to assume that the city of Rumoi itself was also struggling finacially and was unable to cover cost of snow removal. This case is also an example of depopulation. Maybe, you may also have mixed feelings. Please pull yourself together here. I pray for your health. Best regards and wishes. September 23nd Monday, 2024 From Hideki Wada
