Beef Negimaki is one of the most popular dishes in Japanese cuisine. It is a great combination of beef and scallions were as Nega means scallions, so essentially, this is a scallion roll. They key to this dish is finding thinly sliced beef that can easily rolled up. In this dish, we were able to find 4oz portioned sized sliced beef used in a Philly cheesesteak sandwich so that is what we used. If you can find this then you're in great luck! If not, go down to your local butcher and ask for some really thinly sliced beef. Enjoy!

Thank you Chef Hiro and Mr Cameraman for making the videos. I chanced upon your videos less than 2 weeks ago but I have learnt so much about Japanese cooking from you and am greatly inspired by your humility while you go about demonstrating the techniques for different dishes. I have already started making some sushi following the videos and really enjoyed them, now I don't just love to eat sushi, I can make them too. I posted some photos on my Instagram and surprised some people who never know I can make sushi :)
