He had to take a lot of prescription drugs cause of lupus, that many thought were addictive drugs, and he was addicted to painkillers in early 90s cause of that accident, but he never did do hard drugs.

The best part of this video for me is the fact they found a guy who looks exactly like Eminem and put him in the video as 8 Mile Marshal. They even called the guy Parshal. As in, partial Marshal. This video is saturated with pop culture references. One I suspect you missed was the little girl dancer. Missy Elliot (check her out) had this girl Alyson Stoner as a back ground dancer in a number of her videos. I think (not sure) the red track suit & white shirt Eminem is wearing is also reference to Alyson because she wore that outfit in a number of video's.
