Alex you’re a young guy, i have recently started watching your videos and ive noticed you dont pay much attention to your health. Start eating right and hit the gym 3 times a week and it will change your life, your family and viewers/supporters like me would love to see it! I work on cars also and did this very same thing and it was the best decision of my life.

FYI: If they continue giving you a hard time, reach out to the Department of Health or Environmental Protection and report the sewage leak. It's both an environmental and health hazard, and they should take it seriously.

Alex you doing great job your family lucky to have you keep up the good work bro. Also you look like a healthy young man if you can go to the gym great but if you can't don't be too hard on yourself this the real world working full plus you run business take care of your family takes a lot of energy not everyone has the time to workout after all that and you want to get your rest and relaxation as well to be healthy.

I change the oil in my cars every 2,000 miles because I mostly do short trips, my shop is a half mile from my house, most days it is just one mile for me, short trips will cause sludge, the engine never gets hot enough to burn off fuel and water from the oil, I only use Pennzoil platinum, ultra platinum in my truck, it is an overhead cam 4 cylinder in a Colorado, that timing chain is really long, it seems to work just replace the valve cover gasket and everthing in there looked like new parts

At 2k miles my oil still looks new. 2k is too soon.

@@cali2468 yes it is way too soon for most people, I am a pro mechanic and on average recomment 5,000 miles but you need to understand my fleet I have 2 trucks a T&C van and a car, the one with the lowest miles is my 1951 chevy 3100 pickup, only 77,000 but it has no oil filter and the original engine so I am not the average guy, my van has 298,000 engine runs and sounds like new, my newer truck has a strange duel cam 4 cylinder and the car my wife drives is a Suzuki made by GM Daewoo , I do not want any engine problems

In Canada, I change 2x a year no matter the mileage. New oil for summer and winter.

This is fantastic, Alex! I really appreciate how you stand by your business. I'm currently dealing with a dealership that sold me a lemon, and they won't even respond to my emails. To make matters worse, they delete all my comments on social media, lol. It’s really a shame. Upholding strong business ethics is key, and it's what will ensure your long-term success. Slude engines have very little hope of being revived even with engine cleaners. Sludge forms in all of the journals in the block and heads. When using those treatments, they are meant for minor sludge, not heavy, thick sludge. You did him a favor, actually

I had Dodge Charger with the 3.5 no oil on the passenger side. I was running it with the valve cover off and the diesel mix in the oil finally broke through the sludge and was like a pressure sprayer shooting the oil mix out of the engine. I was right by the ignition switch so I was able to cut it off real quick.

On that sludge….how do you feel about the Valvoline Retore & Protect?! Over time would it help revive engines in a similar situation?

"Revive" is a strong word. It may clean some of the sludge man.

Alex back in 08 when the mechanic that helped me out with my first car when we where teens with 2 kids, he had a shop not even 1/4 the size of what you showed and he was 15,000 a month back in 08 maybe because its miami but holy shit 2500 in 2020 ?? Is that alot for the area?

slu....sludge is baaad....mmmmkaaay! ive been trying marvel mystery oil in my oil to clean up a little sludge in my ram 2500 4x4 5.7l that i bought a couple years ago that was neglected and not maintained well at all. when i bought it, i stripped it down to the block and did new seals all the way around. thats when i noticed all the build up. it wasnt as bad as the car that died in this vid but more than i liked so i started using marvel mystery oil in my oil changes. i substitute a quart of oil with mmo and change every 2000 miles. the last oil change, i popped a valve cover off and it dont even look like the same engine inside. id say its 75% cleaner and runs way smoother. the guy i bought it from asked if i put a new engine in because he said it never ran that nice when he had it. i told him he should take better care of his vehicles and they would run nice. 3000 miles for me. its just the old school in me the way i take care of my stuff. yes, i run full synthetic but i still change my oil at 3k. its not a waste as oil is cheaper than a new engine any day.
