I spent 24 years in the US military and we used to have to wear gas masks during exercises for 12 hour shifts while we worked on military aircraft. I don't know about those older masks but the newer masks actually have a drink tube wrapped around the nose piece you could use to insert into the top of your water canteen.

Hey Pete, the fudge will be good for months, but once opened put it in an airtight container in room temperature, not too cold,not too hot. I've kept it for years and it's been fine.

Usingers fresh polish (NOT smoked(kielbasa)) is the best I've ever had. I put it in any application of soup or stew needing a sausage, red beans and rice, including straight up boiled with a buttered roll and horseradish. My polish grandma served the latter every holiday and stays with me still today.

Our masks in the army had a small hose attachment on that front filter....it plugs into the top of a canteen lid l, you turn your canteen upside down and sip. And yes, wearing those masks for long periods of time takes a lot of training
