I never cared for Gabriel back then. But after this interview I now have a lot of respect for him. I like how eloquent he is at speaking and not backing down while still being respectful but firm. @@andreah.8470 i wasn't wrapped up in the beauty scene when this was going around-- i wore make up and enjoyed learning about it, but i didn't watch many videos bc i hadn't learned many techniques to help my auditory processing issues yet, i was more a product review blog reader, like temptalia type stuff. but like from waht i know from jen and others now, its like. gabriel does seem very very much like. the most mature one? like hes like yeah, i started it, i fucked up there. is houldn't have been so petty, etc. its refreshing. he comes off as very level headed and like he has a good head on his shoulders. good on him, and the people who raised him! (not necessarily mom and dad, bc i dont know how he feels about his rents, but like. obviously someone did a good job, whether it was a kind teacher or a parent or an aunt/uncle etc)

@24:26 As a Mexican American that is also the eldest child, I can definitely understand the feeling of having to be the voice for your family and fighting for them and fixing things for them whenever things go awry. It's rough and leads to a lot of guilt when we fail, and especially when we want to do things for ourselves. I can see how all those feelings were piling on Gabriel as he went through that public dispute, and was losing support, and possibly losing his career. I'm glad he brought up his experience since it's very relatable.

I’ll never forget leaving a comment for Gabriel asking which foundation he would recommend and he answered me. He suggested Maybelline matte and poreless. And it is tried and true, the foundation I always go back to. I just appreciate how helpful he was.

Every conversation I see with Gabriel, I dig him. Think he’s rad. Genuine and honest and showing growth in a way that we honestly want from people in the spotlight. It's Dramageddeon because it was an Armageddon style event for creators on KZbin. It was the reason those of us who had been grandfathered into the partner program suddenly got kicked tf out, why EVERYONE had horrible cpm for so dang long, so that KZbin could do some serious damage control. And Dramageddeon 2 is why you can't see exact sub counts anymore, as well as why Socialblade doesn't show lifetime numbers anymore.
