*NOTE* To be VERY clear, Gabriel does NOT support James's choices after No More Lies with regard to his interactions with minors. Gabriel saw James's interactions with Sam (both were 19 at the time) as appropriate dating behavior. Sam contacted James, went to his room of his own accord, and kissed James after James asked if it was okay. This account is from Sam himself. We have discussed on this channel that there was still an issue with power dynamic that James did not understand at the time. That being said, Sam later said that James was not inappropriate with him. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT to recognize that these events are BEFORE James admitted to inappropriate interactions with minors. Any defense Gabriel has of James is from BEFORE his attraction to minors became public. Gabriels feelings about that will be addressed in the 4th (and final) part of the interview where he talks about his current feelings about James, but we aren't there yet. I love that there is so much debate going on and that people have different opinions and feelings. That's what this is all about, presenting the information so YOU can decide what you think. If you could please be respectful of each other, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for watching.

I hear and appreciate the concerns from those disappointed that I didn’t push back harder. The clips in the video were added intentionally, by me, to provide more context and present multiple perspectives. I thought that this would be sufficient in showing you that I saw the other side of the situation. In hindsight, I feel like a voiceover would have been more effective so that my personal intention would be clear. As I'm sure you know, real people and stories are rarely black and white, but almost always shades of grey. With real people, there are no perfect heroes or villains. My goal is always to present the complexities so we can all understand the events better, not to tell you who to like and who to dislike. I challenge you to remember that nice is different than good, bad people can be right sometimes, good people can be wrong and of course, vice versa. Gabriel: You are right, there is difference between being biased and being credible. But credibility is not just about being honest. Being credible comes from not engaging in mind reading regarding other people's thoughts, motivations and intentions. Someone is more credible when they have a realistic view of their knowledge, abilities and failures. When they openly admit their assumptions and conclusions are flawed and incomplete. You may very well believe that what you're saying is true. Just like someone can be mistaken rather than lying. But that doesn't make you credible. I'm actually very open to hearing what you have to say. To be honest though, not rehashing this story publicly after so many years -- and instead focusing on creating better things would make you more credible.

I mean.. many things can be true at the same time.. Sam could have willingly gone to the hotel room and James still could have begged him to stay, essentially making Sam feel “trapped” to avoid awkwardness or confrontation. Staying there any amount of time after you’re ready to leave before finally getting the strength to leave will make it seem like you were “trapped”. To me, it sounds like James could have been using some minor manipulation tactics to get what he wanted. In his mind, he could have been thinking.. “if I just get him to stay a little longer..”, or “if we can just cuddle a little more he will get comfortable”. Saying, “but you said you’d come watch this movie with me”, is making it seem like Sam was obligated to stay and finish the move.. which he was not. It seems like James didn’t lock him in the room and refuse to let him leave, but he did try to guilt trip him in to staying.. even by his own admission. Also a little off topic, but it connects; No one has been sued for defamation. And that could be for a number of reasons.. cost being a big one. All of these influencers and KZbinrs have a lot of money but it could go on forever with no resolution and just loss of funds on all sides. BUT, it could also be because none of it has been lies.. or a at least the majority has not been a lie.. just different perceptions of each event. Obviously Tati views what happened one way, where Rich Lux has a different view, and Jeffrey and Gabriel each have their own views from what they have all seen in person and online/through contacts.

James was a very entitled and very young human who became very famous during a very important developmental stage of life. I don’t think the average person has any concept of what existing in the entertainment industry & LA is really like behind the scenes - people talk about abuse of power & power dynamics now but that is also the status quo behind the scenes. and we know James had felt hurt and used by men playing the part to get close to the fame. I don’t think James was deliberately manipulating anyone from his POV. And I think Sam is an autonomous human who was attracted to the fame and attention. I’m not saying there’s a wrong or right, I’m saying we learn by doing the hard things and one of the most important lessons is to recognize when something isn’t working for you & recognizing that and doing the work to learn and become a better version of yourself

He said what he did wrong, he talked to people about it, he made amends with Jeffree and Jeffree even put him in his campaign. They all sat down and talked it out. Tati can't do that. Tati can't hold herself accountable because it's easier for her mental health to push the blame onto others than to accept that she is ultimately the one that caused all this and she can never take that back. Gabriel can have a real honest talk about the drama. Tati will NEVER do that, because she knows at the end of the day all roads lead back to her choice of making that video. And she can't handle that. I actually watch and like Tati and her content, but she's always been a bit delusional when it comes to accountability. She would rather not talk about something if it makes her look (or more important, makes her feel) like she did something wrong. She would rather ignore the negativity. I feel like she started to be friends with J*, Manny, Laura and etc to be in a club of popular kids and to get more clout in the beauty community. All of those people are self admittedly messy, dramatic and Tati was not perceived that way before she started hanging out with them. Her audience warned her about J* and the likes, she didn't listen and almost lost her career, credibility and trust of her audience in the turmoil of the drama. It's more nuanced than "she's upset because of vitamins". She was hearing horrible stories from Shane and Jeffrey, she witnessed first hand James Charles' behaviour at her birthday party and other private social events. The vitamins were just the last straw for her, she thought "this is the real him, ungrateful and using me until I was useful to launch his career to than backstabbing me when he doesn't need me anymore". Shane and Jeffrey capitalized on that and she was a fool to let them manipulate and push her into doing bye sister. She should have known better but so did James Charles. And Shane and Jeffrey hid immediatly after when the public opinion shifted, both ready to launch their series and that cash grab of a pallette! Tati is a big girl. She made the decision to do this all on her own. She said as much in her Bye Sister follow up video, the one everyone conveniently forgets. Tati said in it she witnessed James doing and saying these things firsthand herself and that she had issues w it for awhile. JS hadn’t made any accusations against James at the time. Tati was the one to do that. Tati just happened to be around when the group of them who were friends were privately discussing the problems they were having w James, the things they were witnessing and hearing firsthand, comparing and contrasting stories to see if he was doing those things and acting that way around everyone else, or if it was just around that person (so Tati was wondering if it was James was behaving, acting, doing and saying those things around just her. JS was wondering if it was just around him. So on and so forth). At which time they discovered he was behaving & acting that way, doing and saying those things around ALL of them, that they’d ALL witnessed things firsthand for themselves, that they ALL had major concerns, were uncomfortable, we’re seeing red flags galore and had alarm bells blaring everywhere, taking major issues w what they were experiencing & witnessing firsthand! Once they knew that everyone was experiencing, nothing and witnessing all the same things, that they all were taking issue w it, had major concerns, were uncomfortable w so many things, etc, they felt comfortable enough to open up to each other about what they were each individually experiencing & witnessing, the concerns they were having, things they were noticing, problems they were having, red flags they were seeing everywhere, etc. It put things into perspective for all of them, let them know James was really out of control, that he was not behaving and conducting himself appropriately, that there were major concerns to be had, that there were many red flags indicating something way more serious was afoot! Which, it most definitely was, as we all witnessed that play out and are STILL seeing it!! Tati didn’t tell everyone else’s stories, experiences, what they’d witnessed firsthand in her videos. She stuck to what SHE ALONE experienced and witnessed firsthand, HER concerns, the issues SHE had w James, the red flags SHE was seeing, etc! Nobody influenced her to make that video! Again, she said as much in both Bye Sister and her followup where she reinforced everything, stuck to all she had said and double & tripled down on everything! Tati’s decisions and actions fall square on HER shoulders, nobody else’s! Shes desperate to TRY to blame it on someone else, anyone else! And has made an utter FOOL of herself trying to do that, losing even more credibility and exposing how she’s NOT genuine or honest, how easily she lies and that she’s more than willing to lie and to point the finger at someone else if it means she’s off the hook, escapes accountability and responsibility, doesn’t suffer any consequences or ramifications, can portray herself as the “innocent victim who’s been taken advantage of and been wronged” and throw someone else under the bus in order to TRY (& fail!) to save her reputation, ego and career!!

If anything Gabriel owes Tati an apology for publicly dragging her over a situation that had nothing to do with him and then maybe she could acknowledge how she hurt him AFTERWARDS.

24.48 in... James thought that the guy was "VERY, VERY STRAIGHT... " So Tati and Jeffree Star were telling the truth about James Charles predatory behaviour towards young STRAIGHT guys...
@EllyannTJАй бұрын
There are missing pieces from all of them. I honestly don’t understand in all of this circular discussions that I am not hearing what Tati actually did that was wrong. She said James Charles was attracted to one of the waiters/busboys. She told James he was under age and he replied that he didn’t care because he was a star. If James Charles did what he admitted to, victimizing some of his fans, no one should be protecting him. That is predatory behaviour. That is what Tati was addressing. And during that time, seemed like she wanted to protect him from doing something criminal. The others just seem to want to cover it up and in my mind that is unacceptable behaviour, protecting a possible predator.

Tati only revealed all of that because she felt betrayed over freaking gummies. If she would have been such a morally inclined person, she would have distanced herself from James before he gave her a reason, simply because what he was doing was objectively wrong. She acknowledges that she was trying to "protect" him. She's just as self serving and slimy as everyone else who was involved in this circus.

I think he's more upset with Tati for not taking responsibility for her choices/actions. Even though Jeffree instigated somewhat, Tati also only shared half truths purposely to paint a very specific picture that she is innocent surrounded by villians. Tati and Jeffree being the same age, and the elders of the group, orcherstraing so much behind the scenes like its some sort of high school musical drama.. just gives me the ick. Jeffree has always been this person, while Tati is acting like she had no idea this could all be some outrageous story just to promote a "conspiracy" which just so happened to be the makeup collection getting promoted at the time. This was eye opening; also the best video that’s been done on Dramageddon. This is when I started watching you-tube so there was so much back-story that went over my head. I’m shocked when I see comments on these videos asking why this is still relevant. It is for people like me who had zero clue on what was really going on or who was most likely believable. Those days were like the soap opera of the century was occurring on you-tube. It was too bad when it came out that some young boys were getting hurt by this.

I am very sorry, but this series gives me the creeps. It's hours of this person appearing overly satisfied with himself, while talking about events that had a devastating effect on the life of at least two people. Regardless of what we think of those people, there was a human cost, and some empathy wouldn't hurt while discussing the topic. Instead, all I see from Gabriel in the videos and in the comment section is zero self-awareness and an overinflated ego. Safe to say this is not for me. I'll be back when we return to normal content.

So James Charles apologizes to the victims of his sexual abuse and then deletes the video, waits a week, then posts a video stating that none of what he already admitted to (and apologized for) is true. Did I get that in the correct order? And now, years later, when Gabriel is no longer relevant, he calls Tati a liar? This is some next-level bullsh*t to get attention, Gabriel. #Pathetic

I’d be horrified that I played a role in that and knowing how many young men were taken advantage of, preyed upon and hurt after I played a role in helping James skate by and shake this scandal off! Not to mention, everyone says James “No More Lies” videos so-called “cleared his name”. It absolutely did NOT!! Not even close! Only gullible, naïve and unintelligent ppl who aren’t sharp, don’t pay attention, aren’t capable of critically thinking, don’t have a good memory & don’t remember things (& esp don’t remember them clearly & accurately!) and sheeple who are not capable or willing of thinking and standing on their own, willing & able to go against the grain and the herd, not blindly following the herd, fell for that gobshite and thought he “cleared his name” and “shut them all down”! All those ppl are complicit in allowing James to skate by and shake that scandal! Allowing him to continue on doing what he was doing and not only did he continue, he got worse and more brazen bc he then thought he was untouchable and everyone was praising him! Since everyone was praising him, he had even more options of guys to prey on, which he did just that! He had the pick of the litter and he used that to his advantage! It’s sickening, disgusting, absolutely unacceptable and should not be tolerated at all! Let alone someone gloating about being behind the scenes and playing a major role in saving James career, shaking off this scandal and getting away w all of this! Allowing him to just continue on doing what he had been, preying on guys - often underage or guys who were confused and struggling w their sexuality, harassing straight men, acting inappropriately in endless ways and *being the disgusting predator he is!* 😑

Her only proof was seeing him be progressively more egocentric, being inappropriate multiple times with straight men OF AGE...and whatever JS shoved at her. her intention was to get him to smarten up and to give a platform for people to come fwd with their story...instead she ended up with him being tormented online, almost unaliving himself ...and no one came forward. at that point anyone would pull back and say "oh no, what have i done?".
