11:58 I know what you were gonna say and it's true. It's basically forcing people to stay unemployed or only part time and stay super poor, because if they make "too much" money you get no support at all and it all goes to exorbitant bills. If you get actually rich, those bills are nothing, though you also have all kinds of support already, but middle and lower middle class people are pressured to not make too much money or lose any kind of welfare that was just helping them out enough to get by, and then they're unable to get by on the "so much money" the government decides they make, even though they're not able to pay for both insurance and food, for example. It's screwed up man.

Ugh I always feel so bad for the parents every time I hear this case, they did everything they should have/could have done after figuring it out and still got murdered by this pos I watched Boze cover parts of the trial and some people have already mentioned the prosecutor but also shouts out to chandler's ex girlfriend for testifying against him she was so brave on stand
@MistySophie2 жыл бұрын
watched Boze too, her comments are super funny. And yeah, the girlfriend was a HUGE help in this case because of her testimony and screenshots. If I remember correctly from the trial, its believed he kinda tried to through her under the bus and make it look like maybe she was involved

Yea, it’s unreal. I have a 12 year old daughter and I love her more than life itself. She’s always been a good kid. We’ve always had a good, solid relationship. I can’t help but imagine how clueless these parents must have been that their son was capable of such a horrific act. What parent could guess their child could be like that?It’s so tragic and scary and impossible to comprehend.
@Freyjinn2 жыл бұрын
how can you be so narcissist and self centered that killing your parents become an ordinary solution, instead of coming clean? I will never understand that psychology. and it's not the first time i hear a story like that, i remember a dad killing his family instead of admitting he lost his job and was faking going out to work for weeks and months

Depends, for some, it's cowardice. They fear how others are going to react so they they commit murder. For others, they might be selfish or already far off from the beginning.

I remember hearing a long time ago, something about how a lot of serial killers started out as kids/people who were normal who then suffered some sort of head injury, but recovered just fine. But after the head injury, they just sort of changed and functioned differently. It's something I can't help but notice, that quite a few serial killers also got bonked in the head. Interesting!

This is absolutely insane. I live where this case took place, I knew most of the people involved from highschool. It's really sad to see, I never knew chandler but I knew his girlfriend and cousin and they are both such sweet, amazing people. They truly didn't deserve to go through this 😔 Also I watch true crime a lot, but it's very surreal to watch something like this about people and places you know and grew up with.

Also, its not mentioned here, but there was something with the fireplace that tipped police on the reality of the situation. Not just the text messages. I think some of the dads blood was on it, and a tiny part was broken. He had his girlfriend help him fix it with i think some body parts still in it, she was clueless the whole time. And she stayed the whole weekend, you can imagine what they did in bed....i really feel bad for her.

As a British person, calling 4th July a colonizer holiday erases the fact WE WERE THE ORIGINAL COLONIZERS. Columbus Day is the colonizer holiday, which includes people working for when we were the British Empire.
@taylorrenee48802 ай бұрын
Columbus Day isn’t even a day in the states anymore. It’s turning into Indigenous Peoples Day. Columbus never even came to North America. And you didn’t “colozine” anything. You raped and pillaged the natives who were already here. Good for you, I guess. British people are still obsessed with America 250 years later.

I remember seen on KZbin the trail on this case and they showed some of the crime scene images. I have noticed that usually when a son/daughter lie to their parents about their achievements/education, they will do anything to hide it at all cost.

13:14 my friend and I were hiking in a canyon that's not too remote but feels like you're way out in the wilderness, and we stumbled on this beautiful cabin "deep" in the woods (the actual road was over a hill but only like 0.7 miles away) and we were like "dang must be abandoned or just a ranger cabin" but then I was talking to one of the campground hosts and she tols us you can rent that cabin for up to 8 people for $150 a night. I was like that's cheaper than a motel room wtf, now we really want to save up and rent that place for a few nights, that would be so amazing, and it's right beside the river (when it runs after monsoon rains or winter snow melt), it's like a fantasy. And on the main road there's a few lodges and B&Bs, but one of them has 2 little fairy-house looking cabins, tall A-frame with shingles and moss, and wooden porches and log-railings, they're adorable, and those are like $160 a night. And the craziest part is this is in the middle of the desert, just barely up into the mountains high enough to start getting forest trees but it's wild to us that we could drive 1 hour from this hellish desert and go stay in a cabin in the forest next to a bubbling stream.

I’ve seen a lot of insane cases but this has to be top 10 or top 5. Like it’s so bizarre he went to that length ….he had so many options…he could have ran away with some of their money or something. The obvious answer CAME CLEAN?! Like it’s never that serious😭😭 but honestly something has to be beyond wrong with him the way he went to the extreme to even make all those fake accounts, fake injuries and stuff.

As a Wisconsin native, DeForest is a pretty simple name compared to other names up here. There’s also Oconomowoc, Sheboygan, Menominee, Winnebago. However, they actually get their names from Native Americans tribes, so I’m always unsure if it’s offensive to poke fun at the names 😅

(a.) A lot of these videos contain old pictures, from before HD cameras. (b.) Judging by the captions that you obviously didn't bother to read before venting about crappy picture quality, chances are these pictures are stills taken from other videos, so they're gonna look like shit no matter how good the camera quality is. 🙄🤦♀
