I has bought the u7h like I told u for the kids and they love it now question I thinking about hooking a another tv for living room but I want to know your honest opinion so far with u8h is a good for gaming and movies and is it better than lgc1 cause if it is I'm going to put the lgc1 in living and the u8h in my room. @@dap9723 The U8H is a very good tv and the biggest difference compared to the C1 is the brightness, I feel that HDR and Dolby vision content looks better on the U8H.

Great review! Started out with a U7G and got a U8H for gaming/bedroom. Absolutely love the image quality. Not the biggest fan of the sometimes quirky OS on the Hisense tvs, but for the money you can't beat it!

I just got the 75 inch, very nice. Dolby vision must have been upgraded as most of the videos covering the TV at the time had problems with it. I like it, it has a glossy screen vs matte screen on my older u6g. My LG C1 is very similar to this, except the brightness difference in my living room plus the blooming is very small vs my smaller LG c1 I don't care about the diff it's so small.

Awesome review I've been on the fence with buying this or the vizio oled H1 and saw there were issues with the vizio h1 that were addressed with a firmware update but what I love of the uh8 is that its feature packed.

Yes definitely the better choice IMO, I had the Vizio Oled and picture looks fantastic but Vizio always have problems in the long run, I prefer the U8H.

Nice review. I did notice the shot of the berries at 6:46 looked more orange than red like the OLED. Did it look this way off camera? Also, Fomo had mentioned an issue with Dolby Vision on the TV’s internal Netflix app, saying it didn’t look right but that Hisense was working on a fix. Any updates on that? Thanks.

I have the "65 hisense TV. Never had a problem in four years of use. I had a tcl " 65 that didn't last a year.

Smart. Every dude use PS5 still going for U8H instead of Sony is smart guy. I grew up obcessed with SONY. NOW I cant look at it any more once use Hisense. Same thing happened to my family too. Like my family just went back to Bestbuy “so underwhelming, this is ridiculous” n just like walked out of TV display section. Lol.

Great review. One question, watch a lot of older movies as well in hd as well. Have they fixed the stuttering and viewing in 2180p?

Thanks, they released an update and fixed a lot of issues including the 4k/120hz mode and I haven't seen stuttering when watching movies either.

@@rachelnicole9127 I have 2 Hisense FLAGSHIP panels 2020, 2021 … each year I look for the issues I “hear “ those tech nerds pass around manifest in my head n I seek it at home but I don’t see it ! I am honest I don’t see color bandinf issues ! N I watch 2-3 hr TV daily Netflix , KZbin ,,, TLC etc all sorts . I am a TV 📺 watcher not gammer ! Lol no issue ! I am watching d TLC most strange show -- Milf Manor right now !!! Sooo creepy . 😮 lots Mon n Son partying trying to match with other mom n son having moms dating each others sons (I found out this show today ) I am so Disturbed 😧 what sick ass show ! N my Hisense is showing No banding! Those ocean 🌊, sunset 🌅 images all fine ! A lot of ppl so OCD ! They hear something … they go look for it ! I actually believed it . Each Hisense flagship i buy … I look for those weird things . N not popping out ! yeah on BESTBUY d 75” Hisense U8H is like 4.9 Stars ⭐️ ! Coz they r like $1700 plus tax n super HUgE , make ppl can’t fit in their car 🚘 to return . Ppl bought 75” r d “this is it “ ppl did MOST research n did not disappoint :):):):) all Mostly Beaming over it

The U8H is much brighter and contrast and black levels are better and it has 120hz support for gaming.

This is the one that I recommend the most, it's my main TV and we love it, no issues at all and the picture looks amazing and it's good for gaming too.

Hi, how do you use the main features of this tv- HDR, Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision, 120hz, etc, if nothing is plugged into the (2) 120hz, eARC HDMI slots. I just have tv plugged in w/ power cord so I don’t know if I can see videos in HDR/ Dolby Atmos/Vision etc. video. Should do a video on this, as many probably has this question. Please help! Thank you.

I would go for the Hisense, 10" bigger does make a big difference, MiniLED is also brighter and gaming works excellent.

Hey Joelster, I have one more question about the TV. Is there any way to prevent the native apps from going into HDR and Dolby Vision? When I watch content on Apple TV it is far SUPERIOR to the native apps and I thought HDR and Dolby Vision would look better but on this tv they both appear dark and washed out. Thanks in advance for your help. I love your content. 💯

Unfortunately no, the only way is thru a dongle like the apple TV so you can have more control over the Apps. I use the native apps from the TV and the picture looks fine to me and my wife, I'm going to try using the xbox to see if there is any difference.

@@JoelsterG4k ok…thanks for the reply. Trust me, you will notice a HUGE difference in the picture quality. My wife is not a huge tv person at all but she immediately noticed the difference when I switched to my Apple TV lol. So far I love the tv a lot….as of now that is my only issue.

I have the U8G and the biggest difference I notice are the improved black levels, the U8H inky blacks look similar to an Oled tv.

@@jicalzad The U8G still working perfectly fine, and the best judge is my wife, she uses it every single day and it stays on for hrs. She is a Samsung fan but yesterday I told her I was going to change the TV and ahe said no, she loves this tv, then she found out its the same brand just an upgrade so she gave me the green light lol.

Joelster great job. Last year you reviewed the Sony X95J a much more expensive top line TV from Sony. But it had some blooming issues. How would you compare that TV with this current version mid-priced TV from Hisense?

Honestly Hisense has been doing such a great job on their TVs for half the price Sony is asking, the only advantage Sony has is their motion engine but is not even that big of a deal, this TV from Hisense looks much better than the X95J.

They are all great options honestly, that's a hard question lol, for best HDR performance either the Hisense U8H or Samsung are great options.

All of them are great choices, for gaming I would go for C2 or Samsung QN90B, Sony A90J has excellent picture, Hisense is a good overall tv with the best price.

@@FredT1988 Yes that's what I like the most, it has 3 openings and I have the PS5, Xbox one X and Series X and it has good airflow, the drawers at the bottom are big and I have a bunch of cables and controllers in there.

I don't think so, the U8G is a great tv, the biggest difference are the black levels and better sound, picture still looks fantastic o the U8G.

Yes, the LED lights are on if you turning off the TV mic. Best thing to do is to put tape, and hopefully it camouflage with the TV.

There's a setting to turn off power LED. It Will turn it off when TV is on

Some of their European model use Vidaa OS and they are going to bring it here in the States as well but the U8H uses Google TV.

I believe you loose detail with the image so bright. Look at 6:47 Compare the 3 oranges on the left, now look at the 3 on the right. The orange on the first row on the right has lost all detail compared to the left row. Also, look at the tall glasses and the loose of detail on the contents of the cups from left to right. The right has lost the detail. Bottom line is too much brightness to me causes the image to get a washed out appearance

Yes the brightness makes a big difference, the problem here is my camera, is very difficult to capture 2 TVs at the same time, the camera captures a lot of light and it looks brighter than it normally looks, in person looks much better.

You won't notice warzone at 4k 120 on this tv with console because the game is only at half the resolution of 4k.

I only had to do 3 steps for the picture to look right, there is no pain in that, you have to do this with every tv, they are all set up in energy saving out of the box.
