Historical twist to ‘Welcome to Country’ address in London conference

Author Douglas Murray says a “number of people” stole British and Celtic land from each other after he opened his address at the London National Conservatism Conference with a historical twist to the “Welcome to Country”.
“None of them were exactly saints - I imagine they all clubbed each other over the head to take the land,” Mr Murray told Sky News Australia host Rita Panahi.
“I just decided to go about 1,000 years as a sort of rough way to thank the owners of the land.”

Welcome to Country in Australia can be summarised as follows: a complete head fark. As useless as an ashtray on a motorcycle and serves no purpose. Half the people groan and say not again. A joke. If you get on a QantAS jet you will be lucky to get the welcome to country on every landing. Lucky folk. I don't even get welcome to China when I go to China with the misses. Even China doesn't welcome me to their country. They just say thanks for flying we us and we have landed in such and such. Welcome to country load of bollocks

How can anyone reflect on the behaviour of all the tribes that conquered Britain and not believe in what Darwin revealed? I watch the birds (crows and magpies) outside my window constantly fighting for the best nesting and perching trees). Humans function no different to any other animal.
