Talk about a difficult childhood, your father is a used car salesman who has grudge against the government because he blames it of his failures, makes a piramidal scam to get funds to build an army and then makes you think that you mother died, the father of the year, it would help to make a good origin movie and give some depth to Cobra Commander and is so bad that Billy wouldn't had been used in the animated series or even in a live action movie perhaps in the reboot of G I Joe movie universe

Interesting. You see, I for one, rather enjoyed the art style of the time. If you have them in graphic novel print like I do, the colors really pop. But yeah, the story in the original comics outdo any material that came after, save for a few.
