When the russian empire, and later the Soviet Union, was not trying to wipe out Ukrainian culture, its intellectuals portrayed Ukrainian culture as a sort of quaint folk art only. Things like this video that show the depth of Ukrainian culture are an important weapon against a country that tries to justify its invasions by claiming to be culturally superior. Thanks for all that you do to help Ukraine!

I will be in Ukraine soon, I wish I had time to visit Lviv but unfortunately I will only get a chance to see Vinnitsya, Chernivtsi and then back to Bucherest. I will have to find some other gift to bring back :-(
