I owned a Bajaj Pulsar 150 DTSi from September 2004 to September 2013. Then I moved on to a Kawasaki Ninja 650 in January 2014. But my favorite among the pulsars will always be the 200NS.

Always will be a pulsar fan Owned 150 in 2009, 220F in 2011, 200NS in 2013, 220F again in 2015 as was in love with 220f, at present owing 200 RS from 2018. These bikes are awesome and will be my favourite always

In 2004 I was dreaming to buy a pulsar, and in june 2005 came ug2 to Sri lanka with Cristal headlight, alloys wheels and notrix suspension, cbz and Apache first gen at the time was huge competitors. I bought it in 2005 August and 16 years I still have it. 147k Kms on it, I glad with my decision

@@veeral01 yes save it like your best friend, when I'm buying it I was 22 and enjoyed my youth riding it and then with my girlfriend traveling to see the country, now she is my wife, now I have a 4 year old son also riding with him. Lot of memories were made with it. Never sell.

Hey I got my best buddy in 2003 September, Bajaj Pulsar 150 (no DTSi) black with electric start (paid 4K extra then). Now odo crossed 150000. Still using for my daily commutation and my machine works like a horse. What a bike.

BTW.. I think Fiero was the first in the 150cc 4 stroke motorcycle segment. In the race to get the first mover advantage TVS Suzuki slapped the TVS Scooty Headlamp on to the Fiero. 😁

Well researched, but did miss out many crucial points and one major blunder: 1) No mention of RS200. 2) While you mentioned that in Auto Expo 2014, the SS400 was showcased, you missed out the CS400 naked version which became the Dominar. Also you mentioned the moniker "Kranos". It is in fact Kratos which was supposed to be the original name for Dominar. 3) While you mentioned the KTM association, you failed to mention that this was the time Bajaj started ignoring the Pulsar updates and started taking the brand for granted. In fact this was the time (around 2012-13) when Bajaj introduced the hideous stickers. And now the major blunder: you said that Bajaj has pulled the plug on 220F. As auto-journalists, how could you propagate such misinformation? Even today Bajaj's website lists the bike on sale and there is news of the bike being upgraded to BS6.

I have a classic 180cc round headlight one. It has 18 liters of fule tank. Later one comes out with 15 Liters. Mileage is between 48-52. You thrash is, it used to give 48 Kmpl and ride with love, i have to 52Kmpl in city. Dtsi had a longer wheelbase because some people complaint of twitchy handling. The classic one had a shorter wheelbase of all Pulsar range. It was good handler in mountains. I remember going to Mussorie from Dehradun just to enjoy the roads. Those were usually empty earlier, now just buildings everywhere.
